Winter 2025 Bucket List

Happy Sunday and Happy First Day of Winter! Winter is officially here, and I'm a little excited. Christmas is just four days away. Just like last year, I'm excited about winter this year...maybe even more so. It's Capricorn season, and I'm looking forward to celebrating my birthday next month.

I plan to celebrate the winter solstice by lighting a candle, using a simmer pot kit, going for a walk in the neighborhood, or on the Silver Comet Trail. I also plan to read The Shortest Day by Susan Cooper with Raphael and make hot chocolate for John, the boys, and me.

Fall 2024 Bucket List

Happy First Day of Fall! My favorite season is back! The signs of fall were here for the past week, and I absolutely loved that it's been in the mid-60s during the mornings; however, summer seems like it wants to stay. It's been in the low 90s in the afternoon this weekend. I'm not going to let the summer weather bother me. I'm in complete fall and spooky season mode. My fall and Halloween mugs are out. I have stocked up on hot chocolate bombs and seasonal treats and bought a few things to decorate our home.

Of course, I also made a fall bucket list. This will forever be one of my favorite traditions. I've added my usual favorite fall activities and a few new things. I may even add a few more things to my list in the coming days.

Winter 2023 Bucket List

Happy Thursday! Winter is officially here! Winter is my least favorite season, but this is due to my hate for cold weather. I love almost everything else about winter (think the holiday season, hot chocolate, etc.), but the cold and dreary weather is winter's downfall. However, as I've gotten older, I've come to embrace winter and welcome the season with open arms. I love that this time of year brings families and friends together, and I can't wait to celebrate the holidays with my family. One of the highlights of winter is celebrating my birthday, and I'm looking forward to celebrating my upcoming birthday.

I'm battling a cold right now, which has caused me to change one of the things I wanted to do to celebrate the first day of winter. However, this cold will not stop me from sharing my winter bucket list. So, let's get to the good part and check out my 2023 winter bucket list.

Happy Saturday and First Day of Fall! I am so excited that it's finally fall. It really is the best season and the most wonderful time of the year. The signs of fall were already here, but it feels so much better now that it's officially fall. I always get struck with a hint of magic on the first day of fall.

Since today was a great day, I'm taking it as a sign that this season is going to be amazing.

Of course, now that the season has changed, it's time to share my fall bucket list. I absolutely love making seasonal bucket lists. As usual, I have my favorite things on the list, but I also included a couple of new things. Fall 2022 Bucket List

Happy Monday! It's finally Fall, and I'm so excited! Fall is my favorite season, and I've enjoyed noticing the transitions from summer to fall. The leaves are changing colors, and the morning weather has been much cooler. In fact, it feels like it's gotten cooler a lot earlier than usual. I've been devouring all the seasonal baked goods and treats.

I'm in a much better mood. Is that strange? Do you feel a bit different during each season? I've heard of seasonal and winter blues, but summer is probably my least favorite season. The bugs are everywhere, and it's unbelievably hot. I always feel like I'm rushing to do everything during summer, and it's just not fun. Fall brings a lot of comfort for me and a sense of peace.

Now that it's fall, I'm excited to do my usual fall activities, but I'm also excited to try a few new things. I've added some new stuff to my bucket list and can't wait to start crossing off items on my fall bucket list.

    • Try a new hot chocolate flavor
    • Read 15 books
    • Read 3 spooky books by October 31st
    • Watch a new-to-me scary movie
    • Visit a haunted house
    • Finish my Christmas travelers notebook

    • Try 3 new recipes
    • Make a meal using the crockpot at least 3 times

    Winter 2021 Bucket List

Happy Wednesday! The first day of winter was December 21st, but it didn't feel like winter. The past few days, we've had temperatures in the 70s, and it's just bizarre. In fact, this entire holiday season has been strange. Christmas looked really different for us because we were sick, but we still celebrated at home.

I decided it would be fun to share a winter bucket list to celebrate winter's arrival. I realized that this was the first year I shared a seasonal bucket list for every season, and I'm pleased about that. I'm not sure how this season will go, but I really hope that I can check off as many things on my bucket list as I can.

    • Try new flavors of hot chocolate
    • Try 3 new recipes
    • Go for a walk on the Silver Comet Trail
    • Organize the closets
    • Donate clothing and other things that we no longer use or need
    • Watch holiday movies
    • Have a weekly game night
    • Work in my sketchbook/journal
    • Finish my 2021 December Daily mini-album
    • Finish my 2020 December traveler's notebook

    • Participate in a book challenge
    • Use the crockpot more
    • Do something new for my birthday

    Fall 2021 Bucket List

Happy Wednesday and Happy First Day of Fall! It's my favorite time of year! We are still kind of in that weird seasonal change, where summer is still clinging on, yet there are still subtle hints that fall is really here. • Make pumpkin bread
    • Carve pumpkins
    • Make 3 Fall/Halloween art projects
    • Document Fall in my journal, traveler's notebook, etc.
