If You and I Had Coffee

If you and I had coffee...

We'd go to a new-to-us coffee shop and order one of their popular iced coffees or lattes. We'd get a few pastries and go for a walk in the neighborhood. The weather has been gorgeous, and spring is finally here...so why not take advantage of the beautiful weather.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that house hunting is such a pain in the butt, especially during a pandemic. We were so close to closing on a house, but it ended up falling apart. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I've been feeling so overwhelmed and anxious about house hunting. The good thing is that we know exactly what we want and what we are looking for, which makes this whole process so much easier.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I'm looking forward to working on some new creative projects. I'm hoping to finish some other projects that I should have completed a while ago before starting these new ones. I'm also looking forward to starting a couple of new classes. Liz Lamoreux has a new class, Here: Touchstones, that will begin on April 1, and I'm so excited. I love her e-courses.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I'm so excited that it's finally spring. I was so over winter. I need all the sunshine, spring weather (cool in the mornings, warm in the afternoons), and flowers that I can get. I'm hoping to get out more, and I hope to go to the Silver Comet Trail soon. My favorite tree that is outside my home is blooming with flowers, and I love it.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd thank you for coming out to visit. It's been a while, and it's been so nice to catch up. We definitely have to meet up again soon. I'm also looking forward to going to the Marietta Square Farmer's Market as well.

What would you tell me?

Target Finds

Happy Wednesday! It's time for another edition of Target Finds! Over the past few weeks, I've found a few cool things at Target and have tried some new (and new-to-me) products.

Let's check out what I found at Target.

Toddler Boys' 4pc Alligator/Construction Pajama Set by Just One You

I love these pajamas! They are so cute. Every time I have to go to Target (or if I shop online), I have to check out the baby and toddler section. Now that my little sister is having her own baby (and it's a boy!), I keep looking at the tiny infant clothes. This auntie is going to spoil that little boy so much.

Market Pantry Blueberry Waffles

I was excited to get these because Raphael has been loving waffles for breakfast. I thought I would switch it up for him and get him some blueberry waffles. Unfortunately, Raphael didn't really like it. He prefers his usual homestyle, strawberry, and chocolate waffles.

Fable by Adrienne Young

After receiving an arc of the second book in this series, I decided to purchase the first book. The cover of the book got my attention, as well as the blurb. I haven't read it yet, but I will soon, especially since I need to read the second book.

Away From My Desk Kira Mug Pink - Opalhouse

I love this mug so much. It's been giving me all the spring and summer vibes. Unfortunately, it's not available in stores anymore. However, this one is very similar and from the same brand.

Overall, I found some great things at Target. As usual, I saved on all of my Target Finds by using the Cartwheel app and buying items on sale.

What are some of your favorite Target Finds?

March Goals

Happy Monday! Can you believe that it's already March? I'm a bit late with this post, but better late than never...right? I've been really stressed out and focusing more on house hunting, so I haven't really been focusing on blogging as much as I'd like.

Last month was a tough month. I'm so glad that it's March, even though March tends to be a hard month for me as well. We didn't really do much in February, but it felt like the longest month ever. Lately, I've been reflecting on the past year, especially since everything shut down in March. It's strange thinking about how much has changed in just a year. Sure, things usually change in a year, but this time the differences are so significant.

Anyways, I'm rambling so let's get to my monthly goals and have a little recap on my goals for February.

Recap of February Goals

  • Read 5 books: I read so much in February. Reading was a big part of my self-care routine in February, and it definitely comforted me.
  • Try 2 new recipes: This was a fail. I have no excuse, although I'm sure I can come up with one.
  • Drink more water: This was also a fail. I'm disappointed with myself.
  • Complete my December Daily travelers notebook: This was a fail. I'm not even sure why I didn't complete this project, especially since I have been making layouts and working in my journal.
  • Complete the first month of Ali Edwards' One Little Word class: I completed the first month! I probably would have finished February's prompt, but unfortunately, some supplies that I ordered for the class still haven't arrived yet, so I could not even work on the prompt. It's been really frustrating because I really wanted to work on the class.
  • Complete 2 Skillshare classes: This was a fail. I really need to put a reminder on my phone and also write this in my planner.
  • Publish 1 personal piece on the blog: This was a fail. I have so many ideas on what to write but just wasn't motivated to sit down and type anything.
  • Complete the latest Here: Five Things e-course by Liz Lamoreux: I'm considering this a pass. I completed most of the prompts. The ones that I didn't complete were due to me not knowing how to interpret the prompt. I think I didn't complete about three of the prompts. I may go back to those prompts and try to complete them, or maybe I'll switch the prompts up a bit.

March Goals

  • Finish reading 2 books that I didn't finish last month
  • Read one of the books that I have to review soon
  • Complete 1 Skillshare class
  • Complete my December Daily travelers notebook
  • Complete the One Little Word prompts from February

What are your goals for March? How did you do in February?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...
