Hello there! It's Thursday and it's time for another Thursday Thoughts.

• I have signed up to be on the waiting list for the Get Messy Art Journal Challenge and since the full time participants are supposed to post their pages on Thursdays, this means that I will have to change my Thursday Thoughts to another day. I'm not too sure what day, but I'm thinking maybe Monday will be a good day to post some random thoughts. Now I may do some double posts on Thursdays and include one Get Messy post and a Thursday Thoughts post, but that will be rare.

• I have started Christmas shopping again. I hope that I am done with Christmas shopping by at least Thanksgiving (hopefully before that). I really do not want to have to shop during the Black Friday and after that. I honestly do not know how people shop during Black Friday.

• I am still so excited for Halloween and everyday I get even more excited! I only need to buy some candy and I can not wait to put my son's class goodie bags together as well as the teacher cookie jars together! 

• I know that we still have a few more months before the new year, but I actually am excited for 2015 and look forward to what will or may happen in 2015. 

• I think I need a Disney movie marathon soon...maybe it will happen this weekend.

Hello there! It's time for another Thursday Thoughts!

• I'm so so so excited that it's October! I can't wait for Halloween either! All I need to do is get candy and I will be done with Halloween shopping!

• I can't wait for World Card Making Day! It's on October 4th and I already have some plans on what cards I am going to make! I even plan to submit some of the cards to a magazine! I'm so excited!

• I need to start Christmas shopping again. For some, it may be early (hell I used to think Christmas shopping in October was early), but now that I birthdays to deal with during the next few weeks and December...this needs to happen.

• I'm thinking about purchasing Copics or some other markers that are similar to Copics because I want to use them for card making.
• Is it too early in the month to drink hot chocolate??? No? It's not...good because I can drink hot chocolate any time of the year (even Summer).

• I love reading and hearing about how my friends are doing well and accomplishing their goals! I love when I get to read that people are getting jobs, getting married, and having kids. It always makes my day. And if one of them ever posts something that's not so good, I love encouraging them and trying to make them feel better.

• I'm actually starting to have a more clear idea of what career I want to have...and I'm both scared and excited.

Hello there! It's Thursday and it's time for another Thursday Thoughts.

• It's been such a busy day. I had a lot of errands and to dos. Thankfully I got done early in the afternoon.

• So I'm really loving that new show Forever. I'm catching up on some episodes and am only like 15 minutes in, but it is so interesting.

• So I just found out that World Card Making Day is on October 4th. Apparently World Card Making Day is held on the first Saturday of each October. You can find more info here. I'm definitely going to make some cards on October 4th. I can't wait!

• So I bought this really cute 6x6 paper pad at Tuesday Morning and it's perfect for my December Daily. I'm still debating whether I should have a separate album for it or if I should just have it in my Project Life album. I am leaning more towards just making a mini album and using some chipboard covers. 

• I have been loving using white card stock (for the bases) for my 12x12 layouts in my Project Life hybrid album as well as using white folding cards (for my bases). I did make a card today using the We R Memory Keepers Inked Rose box of cards. I plan on making a post with the card that I made on Friday or Saturday.

• So I've had my Gelatos for a few months now, but haven't used them yet. I think I'm going to watch some tutorials on Youtube and then try a few of them in my art journal.

• I want and need to look up some recipes for Fall. I think my crockpot is going to be my best friend for the season.

Hello there! It's Thursday and it's time for another Thursday Thoughts!

• It's been a very busy day today. I had several errands and lots of stuff on my to do list. I'm glad that I'm more than half way done with everything.

• I seriously need to get started on making some mini albums and mini dashboards. I also need to work on my layouts for Project Life as well.

• It's the middle of September and I'm going to get started on Christmas shopping since I'm basically all set for Halloween.

• I'm working on making new goals...both short term and long term.

• I'm having baby fever...like super baby fever! I'm even having dreams about having another baby except I keep dreaming that I end up having twins! 

• I want to go on an adventure. I don't want to go out of state, but I want to go somewhere that I haven't been. 

• Ok so I'm definitely going to attempt to do the "No Spend" in October. I think I'm doing ok this month. I always try to get stuff with coupons and when they are on sale which really helps. Plus I think I got everything that I need for lots of projects. I need to figure out what I want to do for my December Daily. I'm not sure if I want to have it in a Snap album or just make my own mini album.

• I think I'm going to participate in Week in the Life. I am trying to figure out if I should make a separate album for that or if I should just have it in my Project Life album.

Hello there! It's Thursday and it's time for another Thursday Thoughts!

• I didn't even know how to start this post. It's September 11. I can't believe that it's been 13 years already. I remember where I was and what I was doing on that day. I'm from New York City and lived in Virginia when the attacks occurred. It still hurts my heart today and I pray that nothing like that ever happens today. My thoughts and prayers goes out to all of the families who were affected by this tragedy. 

• My oldest son is not feeling well and did not go to school today. Hopefully, we all do not get sick again. He's feeling much better now and we are all so happy.

• I'm going to start using watercolors in my art journal as well as use watercolors on some handmade journaling cards. I've been seeing lots of cool tutorials on different blogs and Facebook pages. 

• I've been hearing a lot about handmade card challenges and journaling card challenges. I'm actually considering joining in on some of the challenges. 

• I heard about a few Design Team Calls and I also have to get started on some layouts and projects for that. I'm super anxious about actually applying, but I'm going to try it. 

• I can not wait for Halloween! I'm sure I mentioned this before, but we got the boys their costumes and their accessories for the costume. I also bought some Halloween goodie favors and had some extra goodie bags left. So now all I need to do is buy Halloween treats which are already being put on displays at stores! So I guess it wouldn't be crazy if I bought a bag or two now. Now I just have to get ready for Christmas!

Hello there! It's Thursday and it's time for another Thursday Thoughts. Check out Jennifer's blog over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for her Thursday Thoughts link-up.

• I'm still sick and am feeling just...blah and ew. Now the boys and my husband are sick as well. So for most of the day, we just relaxed and took a nap.

• I am finally caught up with all of my Project Life layouts and I'm so excited that I get to start working on my new album this week. Hopefully, I feel better soon because I just can't wait to dive in and try hybrid Project Life.

• I seriously can't wait for Halloween. We already bought the boys their costumes and the accessories that goes with it. I'm thinking of dressing up this Halloween as well.

• So I am supposed to do a No Spend for September, but I don't think I will be able to make it. I did end up having to go to Michaels and Hobby Lobby because I did need and want some Project Life dividers for my new album. Of course, neither stores had them at all and there was not a space for them either so I don't think they even carry it at all. I just ended up purchasing some of the new Heidi Swapp epoxy stickers.

• Speaking of No Spend for September, I think I may have to alter it and just set an 'allowance' of just $20. I think that would be easier rather than completely doing a No Spend for the month. It's kind of hard since there are so many birthdays coming up and there are some things that I do not have in my stash (mainly some embellishments that I have run out of) that I would need (and want) to get to create gifts. 

• I made my little sister an explosion box card for her upcoming birthday. I love how it turned out. It was a little hard to do at first. I actually made one out of just regular paper just to test it out and then I tried again, but I didn't like how it turned out. Finally, on the third try, the box turned out pretty cute. I have to admit that I was about to go out and buy some supplies, but I am proud to say that I didn't and used what I had in my stash. I definitely will be posting about the box in the next few days.

• I just heard about Joan Rivers' death and I just feel so bad for her daughter, grandson, and her friends. From all the stories that her friends are saying on E! News, it sounds like she was such a kind lady. I don't watch E! much, but when I did, I loved hearing Joan's jokes.

Hello there and happy Thursday! Today is Thursday and that means it's time for another Thursday Thoughts.

• I can't believe that in just a few days it will be September! This year is going by way too fast, but I am happy that Fall is coming up!

• I'm kind of excited about the new Erin Condren notebooks since they will obviously have a lot more pages. Plus I heard you can add dividers as well. I hope that they don't have interchangeable covers, but I'm sure that they will since the Life Planners have interchangeable covers. I will definitely get some more info on the notebooks soon.

• I said I didn't need another core kit (and I really don't), but I did end up buying the Heidi Swapp Favorite Things Edition core kit. I saw a ton of cool projects that were made with the core kit so that made me change my mind. I definitely plan to use the cards in my Project Life album as well as to make some handmade cards. I may even give some away as RAKs or maybe have a giveaway!

• I am really loving this card that I found on the JMP girl designs blog! This is the project that really made me want to purchase a core kit even though she used a value kit for the card.

• I watched The Blob yesterday and the movie still kind of scares me lol. It's not as scary as when I watched it as a kid, but there were some scary moments. 

• I want to try another subscription box soon. Maybe I'll try Love with Food or Urthbox. 

• I really want to buy a black blazer and a cardigan. I'm loving all of the cardigans at Macy's.

Thursday Thoughts

Hello! Hello! It's Thursday and that means it's time for another Thursday Thoughts. I'm posting this just a tad bit on the late side, but I've been so busy and exhausted today. Better late than never...right?

• I have been making some sketches and drafts of cards that I plan to make tomorrow. I'm super excited to finally make them. I have been saying that I want to just make a bunch of cards, but just haven't had the time. I'm even more excited to make some cards because of all the Heidi Swapp Project Life goodies that I bought.

• Speaking of Heidi Swapp Project Life goodies, I'm seriously loving all of the crafts, mini albums, and cards that everyone has been making with their Heidi Swapp products. I definitely plan to use some of the new Heidi Swapp collection to make some cards as well.

• I saw that Michaels has some new cards, envelopes, and dimensional stickers/embellishments. I don't need any cards or envelopes, but I do want and need some of the stickers. I also plan to get a few Fall embellishments for some of the projects that I plan to make. There are so many people I know that are having babies and getting married so I need to start making some cards.

• So everyone is doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I know there are some people who say that it's just better to donate and that throwing ice cold water is dumb, but at least this challenge is raising awareness.

• I want to (and will) make a Fall and Winter bucket list. Definitely plan on checking online for some ideas. 

• I need to order a planner soon. My current one ends in December. I've been using an Erin Condren Life Planner for about 2 or 3 years now, but I'm thinking about switching to a Day Designer. I really don't like that the Erin Condren planner covers are interchangeable and am worried that they it can pop off. The main thing that I don't like about the Day Designer is that it has a daily hour by hour layout/section that I wouldn't really need to use. I guess the good thing about the hour by hour is that if something changes (i.e. an appointment) I can put it in another timeslot.

Hello there! It's Thursday and it's time for another Thursday Thoughts. So here we go...

• My baby is feeling so much better now and went to school yesterday and today. He was so happy to go to school and see his friends.

• I'm going to work on my meal planning tomorrow and my major goal for the rest of the month is to stick to it.

• I'm also planning to do a "no spend" September and this time I am being serious. I think I'm pretty stocked up on my crafting supplies so I don't think I need anything for the next few months or so. I want to start using up what I have so far. The only things that I do need is just a few things for my son's pre-k class and teachers, but other than that I really do have a lot of awesome stuff to use for Project Life and card making as well as for other projects here and there.

• Speaking of getting a few things for my son's class...I've been looking up crafts and treats to make for the kids and the teachers. I finally made a Pinterest and that site is just awesome! I have found so many different things! Since Halloween is just a couple of months away, I think I found what I am going to make for the teachers. I'm going to make some Halloween cookies jar gifts. I found this idea on Pinterest and went to the website. So so cute! There's even one for Christmas! So I am set for Halloween and Christmas gifts for the teachers. The kids will be getting goodie bags for Halloween, but I'm not sure what to do for Christmas.

• I am so ready for Supernatural and the Walking Dead to premiere. I can't wait for October!

Hello there! It's Thursday and it's time for another Thursday Thoughts. So here we go...

• We had a few errands today so we were a little bit busy, but I got to go to Michael's today!

• Speaking of Michael's, I found some of the new Heidi Swapp Project Life products! My local Michael's didn't have a lot of the stuff in yet, but I did get a stencil and stamp set, a set of clear stamps, mini books, and the mini folders. I definitely will be going to go to Michael's in the next few days to get some of the other stuff.

• I'm going to try this new Breyer's ice cream (vanilla caramel gelato). I hope it's delicious.

• Hubby and I are planning to go to the movies tonight to see Guardians of the Galaxy so we hope it's a good movie. It will be nice to have a date night finally. It's been an hectic week.

• I didn't make the Xyron Design Team, but I'll try again next time. I think there's going to be another design team call in the next six months so I'll have plenty of time to make some new projects.

• I seriously need to work on our wedding album and another wedding project. I think I'm going to use a mini album instead of a 12x12 album. I also need to get some pictures for my mami and my in laws...asap!

• I think it's time for me to give up soda again for a month. I'm drinking way too much soda.

• I need to work on my 30 Days of Lists book and get the pages ready so that I can just add my lists.

• Today was my son's Sneak-a-Peek (aka Open House) at his school today. I'm super happy that he is going to have the same teacher. She's awesome!

• We finished school shopping today and got a ton of errands as well as to dos checked off my list.

• Hobby Lobby and Michaels are like my two favorite stores now. Seriously I go to Hobby Lobby just a tad bit too much. I'm starting to like Tuesday Morning a little bit. They don't have a ton of scrapbooking/crafting supplies, but I always find something that is awesome. 

• I found some binding rings and a really cute 6x6 paper pad by We R Memory Keepers (Bewitched) at Tuesday Morning and plan to make a mini album.

• Speaking of mini albums, I really want to make several of them. I need to look up what kind of covers I would like to use...maybe some chipboard? 

• I applied to be on the Xyron Design Team and I'm hoping that I get picked for one of their spots. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun.

• I'm thinking about making a big change in the next few months/year...and I'm feeling a little bit anxious about it.

• I just made a Pinterest and I'm trying to learn how it works. So once the boys go to bed, I think I'm going to work on that.

• I've been going to Hobby Lobby and Michael's a lot. I got most of the stuff that I need for now except for a memory tray.

• I'm getting even more excited for all the projects that I plan to make in the next few weeks.

• I'm still trying to decide on whether or not to keep my Conscious Box subscription. I'm going to look into some other subscription boxes like Urthbox and Love with Food.

• I wonder if I should let my youngest son have a big boy bed soon. 

• I'm working on my wish list.

• I need to get started on my July assignment for One Little Word. The month is almost and I want to get this assignment done soon.

• Why is meal planning so hard? I need to find a better way to meal plan.

• I received Michael's rest/nap mat for school. I was surprised at how fast the product shipped and arrived. 

• I'm planning on making some cards this weekend with all of the MAMBI cards that I bought in the past week.

• I love Zaxby's. Sure it's unhealthy, but my gosh it's so delicious!

• I'm getting even more excited about 30 Days of Lists and have a few more things to get done for this project. 

• I know it's kind of early, but I am going to start Christmas shopping early. And by early, I mean like starting this month. I just want to get done before the end of November.

• We already know what we are going to dress the boys up for Halloween! Can you tell that I am excited for Fall and Christmas?

• I really want to order my Erin Condren planner, but I want to wait a little longer. I need to read more reviews about the covers. Plus I keep hearing about orders getting messed up or arriving too late so I want to wait until everything dies down a bit.

Hello! Hello! Hola mi gente!!! It's time for Thursday Thoughts. And here we go...

• I had a ton of errands today and got most of my to-dos done already. I'm feeling very accomplished at the moment because of all the stuff I got done in such a short amount of time.

• I am getting really irritated with USPS. They are constantly losing mail. It's freaking ridiculous!!!!

• Also I am not sure what is going on with the Project Life journaling pens. Every time I purchase a new pack, they immediately dry up. I just bought a third pack not too long ago (and barely use them) and after they are all dried up. I think I'm just going to stop purchasing them and stick with my Sharpie fine point pens.

• I have caught up with One Little Word and plan to start working on this month's prompt this weekend.

• I'm super excited because I am going to be a sponsor for 30 Days of List. I seriously can't wait! I need to decide whether to use one of the many daybooks that I have or make a mini album/daybook for this round of lists.

• I wonder when the fourth book in The Books of Abarat series is going to come out. I will probably have to reread all of the other books in order to remember what happened though. Plus I still have a ton of other books I need to read as well (yes...I know I keep saying that).

• I wish laundry could just fold itself. I swear laundry has got to be the worst chore ever.

• I am getting excited seeing all of the school supply sections being set up and I'm not even in school.

• I really want to go to this new Dominican bar/restaurant that is nearby. Maybe we'll go for our anniversary?

• I also really, really, really want to go see Deliver Us Evil. I seriously need to make time to go see this.

• I can't believe it's already July and that tomorrow is 4th of July! This year is going by quick!

• Going to Hobby Lobby and seeing the employees put up all of the Fall items is making me even more excited for Fall.

• I'm already loving this season of Teen Wolf.

• I can't wait for the Walking Dead and Supernatural to finally come back on.

• I seriously need to go see Deliver Us From Evil.

• My boys and husband are just super awesome!

• It's my mom's birthday! Happy Birthday mami!

• I want to work on my blog some more (i.e. designs and such).

• I finally organized my craft supplies in my new Recollections desktop carousel and organized my craftsman tote. My desk looks some much more organized.

• It seems like school is starting earlier every year! I can't believe kids will be going back to school in a month.

• I'm still figuring out what I want to do career wise. Has anyone ever been confused with what they want to do after graduating college?

• I think I know all the words to almost (if not all) of the Jake and the Never Land Pirates episodes. My boys are obsessed with that show.

• I'm loving all the shows that are now back on. Teen Wolf and Mistresses are back and I'm super happy about that. However, I am annoyed that Crisis was canceled. That show was so awesome. I think Dominion and the Last Ship are going to be pretty awesome and interesting. 

• I'm going to try and meal plan a lot more. Hopefully the rest of this week and next week goes well.

• I'm in love with the song Cool Kids by Echosmith.

• I seriously need to start reading all of my stacks of books and my magazines, but I'm not sure which book I should read first. I swear I could open like a mini library at my place.

• I wonder how long I can hold out from ordering my Erin Condren life planner. My current EC planner doesn't end until December 2014, but I like to order it in advance. I need to look up reviews on the covers soon.

• I'm getting really, really, really excited for Fall. I've got so many plans for the Fall. 

• I got my third Conscious Box...and I think it may have just been the best one yet. Plus they are also giving me an extra box due to an issue with the second box. I'm hoping to get my review done tomorrow.

• I'm excited that my Urthbox should be shipped in about five days. I can't wait to get the box and review it.

• We finally watched Frozen and it was a pretty good movie. I can see why so many people were/are obsessed with it.

Thursday Thoughts

Hello there! It's Thursday so I am going to post my Thursday Thoughts. I found out about this from Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom. You can find more information on Jennifer's blog.

• Even though I was disappointed that Bath and Body Works only have Dancing Waters online, I did go to the store to purchase some gifts. I even purchased a new set for myself that I hadn't tried before. I figured that I might as well since the annual sale is going on and there are some really good deals.

• I didn't get to watch Frozen last week or the other movies that we bought so I am hoping that tonight I can watch at least one, but I'll definitely watch one tomorrow.

• I think I am going to try and do a "No Spend" for July and August. Basically a "No Spend" is where you do not buy anything that you do not need (even if you really, really want it). Only necessities and bills will be paid. We'll see how that goes. We're pretty good at not purchasing things that we don't need so I don't think we'll struggle with this.

• I'm already dreading next week. I have a ton of stuff going on early in the week. Lots of meetings and appointments...

• I need to start reading all of my books and magazines. I think I mentioned this before, but I have a lot of books both in print and in digital format that I have yet to read. 

• It is way too hot!! It's not even summer yet and the heat is just too much! I had a feeling this would happen since the winter we had was long and unusually cold.

• I'm becoming obsessed with mixed media. I'm going to try some more tutorials tomorrow and during the weekend. I'm hoping that the tutorials turn out alright.

• I can't wait to get my Conscious Box shipping link. I'm surprised that I haven't received it yet, but I already sent out an email.

Thursday Thoughts

Hello there! Happy Thursday. I hope everyone has had a great day today. Today (I guess you could say tonight), I am going to be posting my Thursday Thoughts. I got this idea from Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom and decided I would join the link up.

• Had a couple of errands today and finished the last of the cleaning except for the last load of laundry.

• I'm disappointed with Bath and Body Works. I was told that they do not carry the Dancing Waters body wash, body lotion, and spray except online. The cashier also told me that they only carry it in stores around the Fall/Winter semi annual sale. The Dancing Waters line is my absolute favorite so I will most likely have to just order it online.

• I went to Hobby Lobby and Michael's and got several supplies for the tutorials that I plan to try tomorrow and the next few days. You have seriously got check out Heather Greenwood's blog. The woman is just amazing!

• I think I'm going to finally watch Frozen tonight if I don't fall asleep. I'm seriously exhausted.

• I am so ready for Fall. It's one of my favorite seasons. I'm ready for the cool weather, Halloween (my favorite holiday), and Thanksgiving.

• I don't need to order my new Erin Condren life planner yet since my current one ends in December, but I do want to order one now. I will wait though because their website has been a little slow due to everyone being on the site and purchasing planners. I may just end up waiting until late August or early September though. I'm still a little concerned about the interchangeable covers, but I feel better since they did Erin said that they have been testing the covers for a year now.

• I can't wait for my Conscious Box to arrive. It should ship in the next few days. I wonder what will be in the boxes this time. I hope that I don't get any repeats. 

• I need to come up with a schedule for my blog. I'm hoping to try and post in the morning rather than posting at night.
