If you and I had coffee...
We'd go to a local coffee shop and stay inside. The weather has been terrible, and it's starting to annoy me. A few days ago, it was about 70 degrees and then dropped down drastically. It's been raining a lot. It also feels like winter and the rain is never going to end.

I'd tell you that I'm considering buying a Kindle. There's no more room on my bookshelf. As much as I don't prefer ebooks, it's looking like I may have to go for it. If I do decide to buy a physical book, it will have to be one that I really want. I'm also considering subscribing to Kindle Unlimited. I'm still don't know much about the Kindle and the subscription, but I plan on looking into it a bit. If you have a Kindle or a subscription, please feel free to share your recommendations.

I'd tell you that I am still focusing on my word for the year. It feels a bit strange this year. I realized that I do not have to remind myself too much about my word. I do not have to remind myself about my goals for the year. I've had a couple of challenges here and there, but for the most part, it's been great.

I'd tell you that I'm so excited about the movies that are releasing this month. I really want to watch The Photograph and Brahms: The Boy II. I also really want to watch Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. Are there any movies that you are excited to watch?

I'd tell you that I'm having a bit of a creative block. I don't know if it's the season or not, but I just haven't really wanted to write or create as much. It's bizarre. One day, I'll write or work on other creative projects for hours, and then the next day, I just don't make anything. So strange. It's like it comes in waves. Does that ever happen to you? What do you do to get over a creative block?
What would you tell me?

I'm not sure what movies are even coming out which is a shame because Tuesdays are when its only $5 to see a movie so my friend and I can go on the cheap day now and we haven't had time. It reminds me her and I need to set a date!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been crappy here too. I LOVE my Kindle Fire HD. It was a great investment. I keep having to remind myself about my word of the year. I'm working on some journal prompts to help keep it at the forefront of my mind. I really want to see Birds of Prey. Looks so good! Creativity definitely comes in waves. It's ok to take a little break and do something to take your focus on the "need to create something" and you'll get your groove back. I'm so glad you were able to join the coffee date this month. ReplyDeleteI’ve been feeling creatively barren lately. I thunk it’s the time of year. Also all the damn rain! We had a day off sunshine today after what felt like three weeks of just constant downpours and it was such a mood lift! I hope it warms up a bit for you soon ❤️
I really rant to see all the movies that won Oscars recently that I never heard of/thought of previously. And Harley Quinn looks great too!
