If You and I Had Coffee

If you and I had coffee...

We'd meet up at Target and get our coffee from the Starbucks that's located in the store. I'd order a Venti Triple Mocha and double-smoked bacon, cheddar, and egg sandwich. We'd walk around the store looking for new things to try.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I still can't believe that my little prince is a year old! Time goes by so fast. I've learned so much during my son's first year of life and it's been a wild ride. I'm so grateful...so so grateful.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that this month is so much better than March. I'm feeling more peaceful and well rested. The weather has been really nice. The warmer weather has been a welcome change. The rain has also been so nice especially since it's been getting rid of the pollen. I'm looking forward to the rest of the month.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I am loving Netflix. The funny thing is that I actually had to get Netflix for a college course. Our assignment was to watch a documentary or a film and write an essay on it. Once I completed the assignment, I canceled my subscription. I only watched that one film so I really didn't know what I was missing out on. Our cell phone provider currently gives customers the basic plan for free, but you can pay the difference for a premium plan. We decided to upgrade and get the premium plan. We absolutely love it. We barely even watch cable and are planning to cancel that soon.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I am so excited about a couple of things that are in the works, but I probably won't share many details. I'm worried that if I speak too soon, I may jinx it or scare myself. I'm feeling hopeful and can't wait to see how everything turns out.

What would you tell me?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...

  1. I'd show you where all the good clearance is in Target, and let you use my employee discount card. (I work there part-time.) I'd tell you that the days are long but the years are short with kids. You've only just begun, but don't worry about the future. Savor all the days!

    1. I love the clearance sections at Target. I have found some really good stuff there. It's amazing how long the days can be, but the years truly go by so fast.

    1. Thank you so much. I love Netflix and have been trying to use it more too. There's so much to watch and the selection is amazing. Sometimes it's hard to choose what to watch lol.

  3. Coffee with you sounds good! A good variety of things to chat about. I'd probably tell you about my lovely three-year-old, the ups and downs of motherhood, how much I love the spring too, and the sheer joy of being able to sit and enjoy a coffee!

  5. I just watched "God Knows Where I Am" on Netflix and it was so great. Bizarre and I have so many questions, but still so good.

  6. Happ birthday to your little man! Netflix is great for chilling out at the end of of the day, there’s just not enough time to watch it all! That bacon, cheddar and egg sandwich sounds delicious - I’d definitely have one of those!

  7. I could definitely use a Target trip, but how did I not remember that Starbucks served sandwiches? I'm glad you're feeling more rested than last month. I'm so glad the pollen has been washed away by the rain. Netflix is great, isn't it? I used to subscribe but since I've been reading so much, I'm trying to cut back on the unnecessary expenses. Thanks so much for joining the coffee date this month, Emily! Hope to see you next time!

    1. I love that Starbucks has a good selections of breakfast sandwiches and items for lunch. I'm so glad that we've been getting rain. The pollen has been out of control and was definitely making us sick.

  8. Oh I could not live with Netflix – sad but true...
Glad to hear you are having a good month so far. I am constantly tired and I feel like allergies but recent tests say I am not allergic to anything. Good but still feel crappy.
