Currently List #53

Hello! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List!

Watching: Wow this novela is getting better and better. This novela is very similar to Pasion de Gavilanes, but there a few things that I noticed that are different.

Reading: So I bought this book last week. I haven't started it yet, but I will tonight. I only took a few peeks inside, but I'm interested to see how this book turns out. I have to say I was a little shocked by the title (I promise I'm not a prude lol), but I think that is what attracted me to the book. I just have to see what is inside. I also looked up reviews, but they are somewhat mixed.

Listening: Just one of the many songs that was on the Workout Latin station on iTunes Radio.

Making: I can finally start making some more Project Life cards since I just got some new Fiskars replacement blades. I also bought two tiny stamps from Michaels and they are perfect for the cards that I plan to make.

Feeling: I'm feeling really restless and I am not sure why.

Planning: I need to plan to work on my Project Life album before I get behind again.

Loving: I seriously love the Workout Latin station on the iTunes Radio. They have been playing some really great songs on the station.

Blog Posts I'm Loving

This past week, I have found some awesome blog posts from some amazing bloggers! Today, I want to share some of those blog posts with you all.

  • I found a really cool tutorial over at Freckled Fawn's blog. Seriously how cute are those Embellishment Windows. I think I'm going to try to make some this weekend.
  • I love this layout. What an cool and easy way to make a layout. I love all the different alpha stickers that were used.
  • I'm really loving this blog post from Basic Grey. The layout is really cute. I love the colors, papers, and embellishments that was used.
What are some blog posts that you are loving?

Until next time...

April 2015 Freckled Fawn Oh Deer Me Kit Review

Eek! A few days ago, I received my Freckled Fawn Oh Deer Me kit! You may remember that I mentioned a while back that I had purchased a few kits to try out before actually subscribing. Well, I finally subscribed in February and I have been loving the kits!

This month's kit is really awesome! It definitely reminds me of Spring and I think that is what Freckled Fawn's goal was.

April 2015 Oh Deer Me Kit

This month's kit included the following:
  • Set of yellow puffy alpha stickers
  • Roll of washi tape
  • Set of white cloud paper clips
  • Sheet of enamel heart stickers
  • One flair
  • Sheet of flower stickers
  • Set of rhinestone image stickers
  • Set of wood veneers
  • Set of felt stickers
The kit came in a polka dot zipper pouch. Below are some close ups of the items.

I'm not a huge fan of the color yellow, but I absolutely love the yellow alphas. I am also loving the sticker sheets. You can actually color them in or just leave them as they are.

The paper clips, flair, wood veneers (my fave!) are awesome! Check out that washi tape! I love the colors on it plus it is so thick!

Last month, I found out that Freckled Fawn will no longer have stamp sets as part of their kit. However, you can purchase them separately. I was a little disappointed that they will not be in the kit, but I am glad that subscribers can still get the stamp discounted. I was and still am really excited about this stamp. I have so many ideas and projects that I want to use this stamp set on.

I also purchased the subscriber surprise which was four different packs of wood veneers. I really love the emoticons, umbrella, and cloud wood veneer shapes. These will be perfect for my Project Life cards, layouts, and greeting cards.

Until next time...

Carefree Voxbox

Hey there! A few months ago, I blogged about Influenster and the Reese's voxbox that I received. You can read about the Reese's voxbox here and you can learn more about Influenster here.

A few days ago, I received the Carefree voxbox. The voxbox had a pack of 20 regular, unscented to go pantiliners as well as a coupon.

I have heard of Carefree and have used their products before. These pantiliners are great and you can't even tell that you are wearing one. They are thin and can absorb moisture really well. I think it was cool that Influenster chose to send out the packs of pantiliners that were unscented rather than the ones that are scented. There are people who have sensitive skin and it seems as if they took that into consideration. Ladies, I definitely recommend that you try Carefree products if you have not tried them before.

DISCLOSURE: I received the products described in this post complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received.

Until next time....

Currently List #52

Hello! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List! *I noticed that last week, I dated my Currently Card as 3/7/15...it should have had 4/7/15.

Watching: Oh Law & Order...how I love thee.

Reading: I got some really exciting news and emails. It's always great to get exciting emails versus getting boring emails.

Listening: I love listening to music that will make me want to dance early in the morning. It definitely wakes me up.

Making: I have a Project Life layout that I have to work on as well a few other layouts that I have been wanting to finish.

Feeling: This weeks just keeps getting better and better. I am so loving it and I can't wait for the weekend!

Planning: I want and need to make some Project Life cards and greeting cards. I'm hoping that I can make some later on today, maybe on Thursday and on the weekend.

Loving: (See Planning) I just received this month's Freckled Fawn kit and I love it! I can't wait to make some Project Life cards and some greeting cards.

Currently List #51

Hello there! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List!

Watching: I swear this show just keeps getting better and better. I can't believe that Michael Ealy is supposed to be serial killer on the show.

Reading: I've been catching up on some blog posts. I just have to say that I absolutely love Bloglovin. It has all of my favorite blogs all in one place and it makes it super easy to read the blogs.

Listening: This. Song. Is. Amazing.

Making: I'm using my Freckled Fawn kits to make some Project Life cards. I was inspired by Florence Antonette's Project Life cards that she made using Freckled Fawn's March kit.

Feeling: It's been a really great day. There are going to be some changes coming up soon and I just have a feeling that it's going to be awesome.

Planning: I still can't believe that I have not started on my wedding album. I have the pictures and the supplies, but I'm just not sure which album I want to use. I have a Project Life mini album, but I am also thinking about using a 12x12 Project Life album. Decisions, decisions....

Loving: Spring used to be my favorite season, but now I can't choose between Fall and Spring. Either way, I am loving Spring and this weather.

Simple Stories SN@P Birthday Card

Today, I want to share two cards that I made last week. I really wanted and needed to make some cards, but I kept putting it off. I knew that my friend's daughter's birthday was coming up so I decided to make a batch of birthday cards.

Supplies Used:
  • Recollections Card
  • Elmer's Glue Dot Runner
  • Elmer's Foam Mounting Circles & Squares

I gave the card above to my friend's daughter. I used my Elmer's glue dot runner to adhere the Happy Birthday card onto the base. Then I layered the hearts onto each other. I used some foam mounting circles to stick the hearts onto the card. I love how the hearts pop up.

This is my favorite card. I took the three balloons and glued them together using the glue dot runner. I used the foam dots to pop up the balloons, the cake, and the Happy Birthday To You sign. I've thought about maybe adding the recipient's name on the bottom of the card (if and when I choose to give it away), but for now it will remain as it is pictured.

I really love the Simple Stories Birthday pack. It's perfect for Project Life layouts, traditional layouts, cards, and other projects. I definitely plan to purchase another Birthday pack as well as a few other Simple Stories packs.

Until next time...
