If You and I Had Coffee

If you and I had coffee...

We'd meet somewhere that had spring or summer vibes. The drinks would be fruity and would be a welcome change from all of the hot beverages that I've been consuming. However, I'd probably select an iced caramel macchiato. We'd enjoy some cheesecake or pie.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that Mother Nature has been such a tease. We'll have a few days of sunshine and warm weather, but then the next day it will be incredibly cold and rainy. The worst part is that we've been having horrible and annoying weather on the weekends. Why does it have to be rainy, but warm?

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I've been wanting to read a book similar to Elevation by Stephen King. I'm currently reading I Really Didn't Think This Through: Tales From My So-Called Adult Life by Beth Evans and so far it's pretty good.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I've been working on a lot of projects and taking a couple of different courses. Right now, I'm taking a Skillshare class and I'm also working on my Get Messy projects. I'm always up for learning new things and I'm so grateful that I have memberships to both Skillshare and Get Messy.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I think I've finally found my word of the year and it's balance. It may be March, but I've been thinking of this word and what it means to me since the beginning of January. I've been working on balancing so many different areas of my life. I've been taking better care of myself and it definitely shows.

What would you tell me?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...

  1. That is a great word for the year - balance is so important in our lives.
We are going into autumn now and this week has been a bit chilly. That book by Beth Evans sounds interesting. I must check it out on Goodreads.
    Have a great March.

  3. Today it was (kind of) warm at a whopping 36 degrees but I can't even get excited because I hate puddles and brown, dirty snow and I have a feeling it's only going to snow again anyways. I'm 100% over winter. OVER IT.

  4. Love your word of the year!! I'm not a warm drink person, but I could go for a frappicino right about now. :) I'm ready for some warmer weather too - without the rain!!!

  5. I am definitely ready for some summer drinks! Can't wait for a nice margarita next to the pool. I haven't read much of Stephen King before, but he's always been someone that I've wanted to get into. I'm just not a horror fan at all. What did you think of Elevation? I've considered getting a Skillshare membership. Do you think it's worth it?

    1. A margarita sounds lovely. I'm not a big horror fan when it comes to books, but I absolutely loved Elevation. Elevation isn't a horror book, but it was amazing. I think a Skillshare membership is so worth it. You can take as many classes as you'd like and learn so many different things. There's classes for various subjects. It's awesome!

  6. If you want summer vibes, you should come to Australia!! Although we are starting to get some slightly cooler weather now. I love your word of the year! Balance in life can be a tricky thing to achieve but it’s such a great thing to aim for. Lovely to join you for a cuppa this month!
