Happy Tuesday! It's time another Currently List.
Watching: I watched a couple of Lifetime movies while I worked on some blog posts including this one. Don't judge me.
Reading: I'm almost done catching up on some blog posts. I also need to start reading one of the new books that I received.
Listening: I love this song. It's definitely going to be a Lana Del Rey kind of day.
Making: I don't eat breakfast that often (I know...I know...it's the most important meal of the day), but I did today. It was seriously the best and I may have to do this more often.
Feeling: I'm a bit tired, but overall, I am feeling good.
Planning: I really need to work on some blog posts and work on making a schedule for next month's blog posts.
Loving: I was able to get some extra sleep. I really needed it. Lately, I have been feeling exhausted again and I don't know why.

Layouts for Paper Issues Spring Crop
Happy Wednesday! On March 17, Paper Issues held their Spring Crop on their Facebook page, Paper Issues. I decided to participate and made a few layouts. Today I want to share the layouts that I created.
I decided that I wanted to document the day that my son participated in his school's Famous Americans Wax Museum. I used Freckled Fawn's January 2017 embellishment kit. I have been trying to use all of the previous kits that I have and I thought that the January kit was perfect for this layout. I also used a Heidi Swapp date stamp and some Simple Stories alpha stickers. I used my Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue to adhere the felt ribbon from the kit.
For the second layout, I documented my sons on St. Patrick's Day. I surprised them with some cupcakes. To make this layout, I used some patterned paper and some heart shaped stickers from A Beautiful Mess. I also used a ruler to make some lines and add some journaling. I also used the same date stamp on this layout.
My youngest son was so excited to take pictures on St. Patrick's Day. He kept asking me to take lots of photos and I love the way that all of them came out. How cute does he look with his little hat that he made? For this layout, I used some Heidi Swapp washi strips and put them in the middle of the layout. Then I added my photo. I added some St. Patrick's Day embellishments around the photo and washi strips. Then I added some lines with my ruler so that I could add my journaling. To finish the layout, I added some pattern paper to the corners.
I celebrated St. Patrick's Day with some cupcakes and knew that I just had to take a picture before the cupcakes were gone. For my last layout, I decided to keep it simple. I adhered some pattern paper to the center of my layout and then adhered my photo on top. I added two stickers and then used my ruler to make some journaling lines. After adding my journaling, I used the date stamp.

Currently List
Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Currently List.
Watching: For the past few days, I avoided watching the news. I was only going to just check the weather for the week, but I decided to watch for at least a half hour.
Reading: As usual, I'm catching up on blog posts and emails.
Listening: I've been listening to "Talking to the Moon" a lot. It's one of my favorite songs.
Making: You can never go wrong with tacos.
Feeling: I've been feeling really stressed out, but plan on taking a few days to just relax. I've been trying to do too much stuff at once.
Planning: So the annual 100 Day Project is going to start on April 4th and I am going to attempt to actually complete it this time. I haven't decided what I am going to do yet, but I still have some time.
Loving: I really needed some coffee today. Thank goodness for Starbucks Iced Espresso Classics-Caramel Macchiato.

Abstract Watercolor Paintings
Happy Thursday! After making a lot of cards for the past couple of weeks, it's been really nice being able to paint again. Over the past few days, I have been working in my Moleskine watercolor notebook and I am loving it!
I'm still learning more about watercolors. I'm learning how to mix colors and different techniques. The paintings that I have done for the past week are abstract paintings. Check out my paintings below.

Watching: Law & Order:SVU will never get old. I love watching the old episodes when Stabler was still around.
Reading: As usual, I'm catching up on some blogs and emails.
Listening: I really like the beat to this song.
Making: I made a batch of cards and am currently working on some blog posts for the week.
Feeling: I hate daylight saving time. It takes me forever to get used to the time change. I. Really. Need. Sleep.
Planning: I need to make a grocery list soon.
Loving: Naps are seriously the best. I took an early morning nap because I was just too exhausted and sleepy. Even though I took a nap, I am still sleepy, but I feel better.

Indie Arts Alliance - Free Art Movement
Happy Monday! I am so excited to share with you all about this community/group called Indie Arts Alliance. A couple of weeks ago, I found out about this group on Instagram. I swear social media can be so freaking awesome. I kept seeing people hashtag "Free Art Friday" and "FAF" so I decided to look up what exactly this was.
Every Friday, artists all over the world leave pieces of artwork around their community for the general public. Who ever finds the piece of art gets to keep it. The person then shares the art that they found on social media and uses the appropriate hashtags as well as tags the artist (or comments on the artist's page) so that he or she knows that their work was found. You can find more information about Free Art Friday as well as which cities and countries are participating here.
So Indie Arts Alliance is a community/group of people who loves art. The group has even created their own little Free Art Movement for Smyrna. I decided that I wanted to see if I could find any pieces of art, but unfortunately I could not. I decided to try again the next week and I was successful in finding a really cool piece of art.
Do you participate in the Free Art Movement in your community? Have you found any art?
Thanks for visiting!

I found this adorable "Party Llama" that Emily Hassman created. I was so excited to find it.
Seriously how freaking cute is that llama?! I can't wait to see what other pieces of art I can find every Friday. My boys were so excited when I showed them this piece and asked if they could come with me next time so that they can find some art. They even want to make some art and leave it for others to find!

Pineapple Greeting Card
Happy Thursday! Today I'm sharing a handmade greeting card that I made last week. I am getting really excited for Spring and Summer so I decided to make a greeting card that reminded me of Summer.
This card was really easy to make and took me less than 10 minutes to make. I got that pineapple sticker and the enamel dots from Michaels. The alpha stickers are from Freckled Fawn. I love how the alphas have two different colors. The white and gold is perfect. I decided to spell out "Hello" so that it would be perfect for any day.
This card is currently available in my shop. Don't forget that you can get 30% off your order in my shop with the code LUCKY. The code is valid until March 31, 2017.

Day At The Zoo Layout
Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to share this layout that I made. This is another layout that I made of our day at the zoo. I'm really excited to share this layout because we were finally able to get a good picture of one of the lions at the zoo. I don't think we have ever been able to get a decent photograph of the lions. Usually, the lions are asleep or in a spot that is really hard to photograph.
I used this 8x8 scrapbook kit from me & my BIG ideas. Unfortunately, it looks like it's discontinued, but you may be able to find it on eBay and Amazon. Once I selected which patterned paper I wanted to use, I adhered it to my cardstock. Then I added a 6x6 textured cardstock on top of the patterned paper. I adhered my picture onto the cardstock and then began to embellish the page. I added the dimensional stickers and then I stamped the word "ROAR" onto the cardstock. Then I used my Distress Markers to color in the stamped word. I added a few enamel dots and then another sticker that says "A Day At The Zoo". I added some journaling onto one of the dimensional stickers and then added the date on the bottom right of the layout.
Below are some close ups of the layout.

Currently List
Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Currently List.
Watching: Usually I don't watch Good Morning America, but it was really nice to watch some of it while I worked on some blog posts.
Reading: As usual, I read some blog posts and emails. I just got my copy of Things We Lost In The Fire by Mariana Enriquez and I plan to start reading that today.
Listening: This song has been on repeat. I had no idea who this band was until Charlotte from My Pixie Blog posted about this song on her blog post. So thank you Charlotte. And...how cool is that band's name? It has a nice ring to it.
Making: I had to make a few phone calls. Random fact...I hate talking on the phone. I prefer to text, but sometimes you just have to actually talk to someone on the phone. I already have several posts scheduled to post this week, but I did make a few more posts for the upcoming weeks.
Feeling: Although I was dreading waking up at 5:00 AM, I am actually feeling amazing. I got a lot of stuff done really early.
Planning: We've been eating at home a lot more so I have been making lots of meal plans. I still need to make a meal plan for this week.
Loving: I decided to give up soda for Lent so I have been drinking lemonade instead.
What are you currently up to?

Hello Scrapbook Layout
Happy Monday! Today I'm sharing a layout that I made using the March 2016 "Shine" embellishment kit from Freckled Fawn. This kit is one of my favorite ones so I have been kind of holding on to it.
My family and I went to the zoo a few weeks ago and I found this picture of my youngest son that I love. As soon as I saw the picture, I knew that I had to make a layout. For this layout, I challenged myself to not use any patterned paper. I adhered my photo first and then added the transparency clouds. Those transparency clouds are so adorable. I used my Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere them to the cardstock. I don't usually use washi tape on my layouts, but I thought the thin washi tapes were perfect for the layout. Once the washi tape and the transparency circles were in place, I added the circle burst wood veneer and then the smaller embellishments (stickers and enamel dots).
Below are some close ups of the layout.

February Awesome Ladies Project Layouts
Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing my Awesome Ladies Project layouts that I made in February. February's theme was Favorites.
This layout was created for the Half and Half challenge. The challenge was to use a split design on a layout. One of the easiest ways to do this is to use different patterned papers. I used two different papers and then added a photo of my son as well as some embellishments to the right of the layout. I decided to leave the left side blank.
This layout was created for the Style challenge. The challenge was to use hearts. I decided to use a bunch of little heart shaped stickers to make a heart shape. This layout has a lot of pink, but I added some black and red to make the layout pop a bit.
The journaling says "I love how so many people are still protesting & standing up for each other (as well as their own) rights. The unity is amazing and inspiring".
The next challenge that I completed was the Photo challenge. The challenge was to take a photo of a favorite item. On Friday, I finally found some Girl Scouts Thin Mints cookies and was so excited. My husband took of a picture of me with a box of cookies...yes I bought five boxes of Thin Mints (don't judge me lol).
How did you document your February? Do you participate in challenges?
