If You and I had coffee
If you and I had coffee...
We'd meet via FaceTime or Skype because of the Coronavirus. With everything being shut down (we're currently in the second week of schools being closed), it's nice to have a chat with a friend even if it's not in person.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd ask you how you are dealing with the pandemic. I'd tell you that all of my local grocery stores are out of toilet paper and paper towels. Lots of canned goods and meats are out of stock. I'm slightly amused and annoyed at how people are hoarding these items. I'm grateful that we haven't had to go out to really buy anything that people have been hoarding. We have been at home, and I love it. I'm such a homebody, so being at home has been great.
I have to say the memes about the virus are hilarious. I think that's one of the only good things to come out of this situation.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd tell you that I have always been grateful for my kids' teachers...especially now. We've been helping the boys with their homework, and they have been learning online. I really think people need to be grateful for teachers. I seriously don't know how they do it. Having to suddenly homeschool two kids have been a challenge.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd tell you that I have been reading a lot. I'm still continuing to read genres that I don't normally read. There have been a couple of books that I decided not to finish. This is usually rare because I am the type of person that once I start a book, I have to finish it even if I don't like the book. It seems silly, but of course, I have to make things complicated.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd tell you that we finally decided to get Disney+. There's a deal going on with Hulu and Disney so we decided to try it out. So far, so good. We have so many shows and movies to catch up on. This is actually really good because it shows that I have been actually reading a lot and have been limiting my screen time.
What would you tell me?
Thanks for visiting!
Until next time...
