1. Kisses or Hugs? It depends on the person. With my husband and kids, both. Everyone else usually gets a hug or a wave.
2. Candy or Flowers? Flowers...even though I'm horrible at keeping plants and flowers alive.
3. Baking or Cooking? Baking...always baking. I hate cooking, but I have to do it because...you know I have kids and a husband lol.
4. Do you remember your first kiss? Unfortunately yes.
5. Favorite color of roses? White roses
6. Conversation Hearts, Yes or No? No
7. Do you leave love notes? Sometimes
8. Do you decorate for Valentine's Day? Not really, but I do put up the arts and crafts that my kids make. That counts for decorating...right?
9. Red or Pink? Neither...red and pink are not my favorite colors.
10. Milk, White or Dark Chocolate? Milk chocolate
11. Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes. When I first saw John, I just knew that I was going to marry him. And now look at us! This month will mark 10 years together and in July we will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary.
12. Do you give Humorous or Serious Valentine Cards? Humorous
13. Favorite Chick Flick or Romantic Movie? This is a tough one. I'm not really into romantic movies, but I really love The Age of Adaline, Tristan & Isolde, Sweet November, and West Side Story.
14. Stay In or Go Out? Stay In

Thanks for visiting!
Until next time...
I'm loving everyone's answers to this survey! I'll be posting mine tomorrow. I love baking more than cooking too. And I also believe in love at first sight :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read yours. My husband laughs whenever I tell him that I like to bake instead of cook. He thinks that baking is harder than cooking lol.
DeleteI don't decorate for Valentine's Day either, but there is a house in our town that decorates for EVERY SINGLE HOLIDAY (all out!).
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that people actually decorate their house (the outside) for Valentine's Day. That would be kind of cool to see.
DeleteAwww, what a fun questionnaire! I may have to link up :) I prefer to stay in on Valentine's Day, too. It's actually probably my least favorite day to go out, simply because the waiters try to turn tables and that to me is incredibly unromantic :) Awww, I love that you knew you were going to marry your hubby immediately and that you're 10 years going strong. Stories like these are my favorites!! <3 <3 <3
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. My husband actually proposed to me on Valentine's Day at our job so that's the only reason why I like that day. It's always so crowded at restaurants so we love just staying home.
DeleteFun answers! I actually would take chocolate over flowers; I just cannot pass up chocolate (any kind! But milk and dark are my favorites). Mmm...now I want chocolate. haha Yay for ten years with your husband! :)

Thanks. Chocolate is the best. Milk chocolate is my favorite.
DeleteI love this link up. And I love Valentines day too! I may have to jump on board with yall! Way to go on the 10 year mark! Awesome! I need to bake more!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kim!
DeleteThis is such a fun questionnaire! I remember my fifth grade "boyfriend" giving me a conversation heart that said "I love you" and swooning about it with my friends for like a month. I'm with you - if I'm giving or getting a Valentine card, it needs to be funny. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lecy. I think the funny cards are so much better than the serious and super cheesy cards.
