If you and I had coffee...
We'd meet at a Starbucks and hope they have the elusive red velvet loaf. I'd order a strawberry açaí since I've been dreaming of spring and, most importantly, warmer weather.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd tell you that I am still trying to find balance now that I'm working full time. I try to get as much stuff done before the weekend, but sometimes it gets a little overwhelming. I'm sure I'll get the hang of things soon. Oddly, I'm not as frustrated as I thought I'd be...I'm more confused about why it's taking me so long to get into this new routine, but I'm giving myself a lot of grace.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd tell you that for the past couple of weeks, I haven't really been inspired to create or work on any of my memory-keeping projects. This has been frustrating because I have so much to say, and how I express myself is through my sketchbook and memory-keeping projects. It's so strange-I want to work on my projects, but once I sit down to do the work, I come up empty. This is one of the worst creative blocks I've been dealing with in a long time.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd tell you that I have been thinking about a few possible major changes in my future. Most of it is exciting, but it's also making me a little anxious. I'm sure I'm overthinking many situations, but I'm very hopeful.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd tell you that although I'm not a huge football fan and the Super Bowl is over, I have enjoyed the stories of the Kelce brothers. I love their bond, and their parents did a great job raising those men. I also love that the flyover before the Superbowl game was piloted by an all-female team. That is truly amazing.
If you and I had coffee...
I'd tell you that I'm glad that we were able to catch up again. With my new schedule and my attempts to find balance, I'm grateful I could meet up with you. This was a much-needed chat, and it was so nice to relax. I can't wait to meet up again next month.
What would you tell me?
Thanks for visiting!
Until next time...
