Recap of my August Goals
- Read 1 book: I actually read three books this month. I read The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. The ending to the story always makes me emotional. I also read Women in Sports by Rachel Ignotofsky. This was such an amazing book and I highly recommend it. I also read Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell.
- Make 5 new cards: I made five cards and love how they turned out.
- Pitch at least 1 brand a week: I did pitch to a couple of brands and applied to a few design teams. I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple of brands, but at least I tried to pitch a few brands.
- Practice painting: I'm currently reading Everyday Watercolor by Jenna Rainey and have been following the prompts in the book. There are 30 prompts in the book and I have been working on one prompt a day.
- Exercise more: This was a success, but I can definitely improve. I went to the Silver Comet Trail and loved it! I plan to visit again very soon.
