Recap of my July Goals
- Read 1 book: This was a fail. I really need to get it together and make more time to read a book. I read a lot of blogs and articles, but never seem to have enough time to read one book in a month. However, I am taking my time with the current book that I am reading because I am taking notes on it. Hopefully I can finish the book this week.
- Post 15 blog posts: This was a success. I only published 16 blog posts, but it's still a pass.
- Work on my Project Life album: This was a success. I have been working on my Project Life album. I'm currently using my Project Life album for documenting my Summer as well as for layouts for The Awesome Ladies Project.
- Try 2 new recipes: I'm not sure whether or not this is a pass or a fail. I did try a "new recipe". While I was making dinner, I realized that I didn't have enough ingredients for one of my usual recipes so I ended up substituting some ingredients. I guess you could call it a new recipe?
- Work on increasing social media and blog engagement: This was a success. My social media and blog engagement is slightly increasing. Hopefully it continues to grow in the next few months.

Thank you Beth.
DeleteGreat job on your goals. I tried a new recipe. It's cauliflower mac and cheese. It was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kim. You just gave me an idea for a recipe lol.
DeleteI love that you have "pitch to brands" on your list--it's something I've neglected but I love to do it! And you did great with your goals last month. PS: i totally did that the other day while I was cooking. I started prepping everything, then realized I was missing flour which was kind of an essential ingredient. Don't you hate it when that happens??
ReplyDeleteHere's to an amazing August!! XOXO
Charlotte, you gave me the idea to pitch to brands. I thought it was such a great idea. I've been wanting to try to pitch at least 3 brands a month, but I think one brand a week sounds like a great idea. Lol I'm surprised that I don't check to see if I have the ingredients for recipes before I start cooking. I hope you have a great weekend.
DeleteGreat job on meeting some of your goals in July! I love that you add a goal to pitch a brand. That's such a great idea. I hope you have a lovely August!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lecy. I got the idea to pitch a brand every week from Charlotte. I hope you have a great weekend.
DeleteGood luck with those August goals! I'm with you on reading - I read a lot of blogs and articles, but not so many books.
ReplyDeleteThank you Penny.
