July Goals

Happy Saturday! Another month has passed and now it is July. Time really is flying by. Today I'm going to share a recap of my goals for June as well as my new goals for July.

Recap of my June Goals

  • Read 1 book: This was a fail. Although I did get some reading done, I didn't actually finish The Handmaid's Tale.
  • Post 20 blog posts: This was a success. I am happy to say that I accomplished this goal. Drafting some posts in advance definitely helped me achieve this goal.
  • Start journaling again: This was a success. I started journaling and I absolutely love it. I'm using a Moleskine sketchbook since I like adding writing, drawings, and small embellishments like stickers and ephemera. I love writing down my random thoughts, favorite quotes, ideas, etc. in my journal.
  • Try 2 new recipes: This was a fail. I found two recipes that I want to try, but I didn't get the chance to actually make it.
  • Do more research on buying a home: This was a success. I did a lot of research and am feeling a bit more confident with the process of buying a home.
  • Work on handmade home decor: This was a fail. I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to make and ended up getting frustrated so I decided to just skip the project this month.

July Goals
  • Read 1 book
  • Post 15 blog posts
  • Work on my Project Life album
  • Try 2 new recipes
  • Work on increasing social media and blog engagement

What are your goals for July?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...

  1. You and I have so many of the same goals for the month! I'm hoping to FINALLY finish a book that I've had sitting on my nightstand for a while now.

    1. I have so many books on my bookshelf that I have to read. I tend to buy so many books and then never get around to reading them lol.

  2. I mean, reading is always a win in my book even if I don't finish the book as soon as I planned :) I try to always grab a cookbook from the library when we go. Its less likely that I get distracted looking through the book than when I look for new recipes on Pinterest LOL. And Yay for increasing engagement on SM. I feel like SM isn't social anymore. Now its just likes, hearts and retweets! Have a great week!

    1. Thank you Lindsey. I have been trying to feel bad when I don't post a lot. This month will be really busy for me so I'm hoping to at least post 15 blog posts. I'll definitely check the link up. I hope you have a great week.

    1. I cut July's goal to fifteen because this is going to be an incredibly busy month. I'm hoping to write at least 15 blog posts, but hopefully I can write 20. I hope you have a great week.
