Currently List #46

Hello there! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List!

Watching: I have never watched this show before and was surprised to find out that it has been on air for a few years. It's a funny show and I might plan to watch the previous seasons eventually.

Reading: Wow! I had around 60-70 blog posts that I had not read in Bloglovin'. It was nice to catch up on some of the blogs while I rested a little bit.

Listening: I love Tove Lo's music! I think she's very talented and I might have to buy her entire album.

Making: 30 Days of Lists started on the 1st and I need to complete Days 2 and 3. I think I might do at least 5 lists in advance since I am sick and don't want to worry about playing catch up.

Feeling: Just when I started to feel better, I end up getting pink eye. I really hope that it goes away soon and that I don't get sick again. I'm so sick and tired of being sick.

Planning: Since I got sick again, I didn't get to finish my Project Life layouts. I only need to finish the journaling so at least it won't take too long to complete.

Loving: My bed and sleep are my best friends right now.

Currently List #45

Hello there! I didn't post a Currently List on Tuesday because the 30 Days of Lists blog hop took place on that day. You can see my post about the 30 Days of Lists blog hop here.

Watching: I have a lot of shows to catch up on. One of them is Tierra de Reyes.

Reading: Due to all of the bad weather, doctor appointments, and school closings, I haven't kept up with all of my emails. It's insane how many emails I get.

Listening: I didn't really like this song at first, but now I absolutely love it. Well...it's not that I didn't like it, it was more like I just always changed the song when it came on the radio. One day I just decided to listen to the entire song (and not five seconds of it) and got hooked.

Making: I've had this layout on my desk for a few days now and I plan to finish it by Thursday.

Feeling: I seriously can't wait for February to be over. It's just been an overwhelming month.

Planning: I've had to reschedule a lot of stuff due to being sick, but I am glad to be rescheduling appointments. Looks like March is going to be the month of appointments and catching up on stuff.

Loving: I love that there is no school for the boys. The weather has been kind of crazy and due to all the winter weather (ice, sleet, snow, etc.) school has been closed for several days this week and last week.

30 Days of List--March 2015--Blog Hop

Hey! Hey! Normally, I post a Currently List on Tuesdays, but today will be a little bit different. I am so excited because today is the 30 Days of Lists blog hop! Many of the ambassadors and sponsors for 30 Days of Lists will be posting a list for everyone to see. If you are not familiar with 30 Days of Lists, you can find more information here.

The list that I chose is Today's Playlist.

  • Talking Body-Tove Lo
  • I Was a Fool-Tegan & Sara
  • All Things Go-Nicki Minaj
  • Elastic Heart-Sia
  • Intergalactic-Beastie Boys
  • Single-New Kids on the Block
  • Outside-Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding
  • Lights-Ellie Goulding
  • Echoes-Eliza Hull
  • Flores-Danay Suarez

I used my mixed media art journal and shopped my stash for this list. I used some Michaels Recollections enamel dots, Sn@p Stickers Typeset, and the Freckled Fawn stamp set from their September 2014 kit.

I can't wait to see everyone else's lists. If you haven't joined, there is still time to do so.

Be sure to check out the rest of the ladies on the blog hop.

P.S. Since I am a sponsor for 30 Days of Lists, any purchases made using the link above will help support The Emi Times. Be sure to check out 30 Days of Lists and learn more about the challenge.

Love Scrapbook Layout

Valentine's Day may be over, but I just had to share this layout that I made of my sons and husband. We decided to take the boys to see The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. This was kind of a big moment since it was the boys' first time going to the movie theatre. They did so well and we enjoyed the movie. We will definitely being going back soon.

I decided not to add journaling on this layout. The picture is a little blurry because my youngest son would not stay still, but I still love the picture. I used a picture of my boys after we got home from the movie theatre.

Supplies used:
  • Mambi 8x8 scrapbook kit
  • Recollections heart stickers
  • Recollections enamel dots
  • Recollections doilies
  • Project Life journaling pen

If you look closely the doily has the word 'love' in the middle.

I added some enamel dots in the corners of the patterned paper and that "Love" sticker is just awesome! I may or may not have bought the 8x8 mini kit specifically for that sticker.

Currently List #44

Hello there! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List!

Watching: I love scary movies and have always loved to watch ghost related TV shows. It's just something about the supernatural that is so interesting.

Reading: It's amazing how much emails and letters can pile on when you're sick and you haven't been bothering to read anything.

Listening: New Kids on the Block...need I say more?

Making: I have to get my photos printed for my Project Life album and my scrapbook layouts.

Feeling: Ugh. I am still sick, but luckily the boys are feeling a lot better. Hopefully, I will feel better in the next few days as well.

Planning: I have several scrapbook layouts and PL layouts to make. Since I haven't been feeling well, I haven't been able to make my layouts and am falling a little behind on my PL album.

Loving: Naps are the just the best...it's even better when you're not feeling well and just want to sleep.

Hola! Hola! I am getting so excited for this round of 30 Days of Lists and I am surprised that I have finally made my mini album and prepped the pages. Today, I want to share my mini album book cover and just a few pages (no spoilers).

Book Cover

I love, love, love my cover for my mini album. I used some Mambi ALPHAchips, Sn@p Stickers Typeset, and Recollections enamel dot stickers. My mini album is made out of Project Life cards (Honey core kit). I used my Cinch to bind the pages. Below are some of the pages that are in my mini album.
