Happy Monday! Can you believe that it's already March? I'm a bit late with this post, but better late than never...right? I've been really stressed out and focusing more on house hunting, so I haven't really been focusing on blogging as much as I'd like.
Last month was a tough month. I'm so glad that it's March, even though March tends to be a hard month for me as well. We didn't really do much in February, but it felt like the longest month ever. Lately, I've been reflecting on the past year, especially since everything shut down in March. It's strange thinking about how much has changed in just a year. Sure, things usually change in a year, but this time the differences are so significant.
Anyways, I'm rambling so let's get to my monthly goals and have a little recap on my goals for February.
Recap of February Goals
- Read 5 books: I read so much in February. Reading was a big part of my self-care routine in February, and it definitely comforted me.
- Try 2 new recipes: This was a fail. I have no excuse, although I'm sure I can come up with one.
- Drink more water: This was also a fail. I'm disappointed with myself.
- Complete my December Daily travelers notebook: This was a fail. I'm not even sure why I didn't complete this project, especially since I have been making layouts and working in my journal.
- Complete the first month of Ali Edwards' One Little Word class: I completed the first month! I probably would have finished February's prompt, but unfortunately, some supplies that I ordered for the class still haven't arrived yet, so I could not even work on the prompt. It's been really frustrating because I really wanted to work on the class.
- Complete 2 Skillshare classes: This was a fail. I really need to put a reminder on my phone and also write this in my planner.
- Publish 1 personal piece on the blog: This was a fail. I have so many ideas on what to write but just wasn't motivated to sit down and type anything.
- Complete the latest Here: Five Things e-course by Liz Lamoreux: I'm considering this a pass. I completed most of the prompts. The ones that I didn't complete were due to me not knowing how to interpret the prompt. I think I didn't complete about three of the prompts. I may go back to those prompts and try to complete them, or maybe I'll switch the prompts up a bit.
