How I'm Staying Organized in 2017

Hello! Today I'm going to share how I plan to stay organized in 2017. I went to my local Michaels during the holiday season and was able to get a new Recollections planner that was on sale. This planner is similar to the Erin Condren Life Planner. I used to use the Erin Condren planner for years and really loved it. Last year, I decided to use the Happy Planner and now I decided to use the Recollections planner.

This year, I am going to use just a few supplies with my planner. I am currently using two of the Me & My Big Ideas Happy Planner value packs of stickers (Mom Life and Seasonal). I absolutely love the value packs of stickers. They are functional and are a great way to also decorate your planner. I may have to also purchase the Fitness value pack of stickers.

I am also going to use my Staedtler Triplus Fineliner pens as well as my black Sharpie pen. I love my Staedtler pens and love that there various colors. The pens come in a case and there is even a built in stand which I love. The built in stand makes it easy to slide the pens in and out of the case.

So there you have it...this is how I plan to stay organized this year. I'm ready to take on this year and I am glad that I have a few things to help me along the way.

How do you plan to stay organized in 2017?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...

Currently List

Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Currently List!

Watching: This movie is a few years old, but I still love it. It's really interesting.

Reading: I saw some new machines in my gym that I have never used before so I made sure to read the instructions before using them.

Listening: You can never go wrong with a Britney Spears song.

Making: I know a lot of people make health related New Year resolutions (i.e. eat healthier, exercise more, etc.), but I am considering meal planning and exercising goals instead. I really want to meal plan for several reasons and one of those reasons is that I want to try new recipes.

Feeling: I. Need. A. Nap.

Planning: I really need to exercise more. I can't believe how out of shape I am.

Loving: The mangofest smoothie from Smoothie King is so good! I definitely recommend it.

Handmade Adventure Card

Happy Monday! For the past couple of weeks, I have been trying to go through my stash and use up a lot of stuff. While searching through my supplies, I found a camping themed sticker set and decided to use it to make a greeting card.

It was really easy to make this card. First, I stamped the sentiment in the lower right hand corner. Then I placed the tent sticker in the middle of the card and then adhered the rest of the stickers. Overall, I love how the card turned out. I love the shiny kettle and cups as well as the guitar.

Supplies Used:
  • Recollections Color Splash Stamp and Stencil Set
How was your weekend? Did you make anything?

Seventh Generation Healthy Baby Home Party

Happy Wednesday! A while ago, a friend told me about Seventh Generation's community and their Healthy Baby Home Party box. After applying, I was selected to host a Seventh Generation Healthy Baby Home Party.

I was pleasantly surprised at all the products that was inside the box. There were so many awesome goodies.

The box included some wipes and diapers which is awesome. I don't have an infant and have not tried these diapers so I can't give an opinion on them. I have read reviews and a lot of people seem to love the diapers. I love that the wipes are fragrance free and was made for sensitive skin.

There were some packets of laundry detergent and a full sized bottle of dish liquid. I have tried the laundry detergent and I absolutely love it!

This water bottle really caught my eye. Bobble makes reusable, bpa-free water bottles and filters. You can find more information on Bobble over here.

The box included some Zarbees Naturals cough syrup with Agave. I haven't tried the cough syrup enough to say whether or not I think it works. The packaging may say "Baby" on it, but it does say children ages 2 months and up can use it. When my youngest son was not feeling well and was coughing, I decided to try out the cough syrup...and he did not like it.

I love that they included wildflower seeds. I have been wanting to plant some stuff so I'm really excited about the seeds.

The kit included lots of goodie bags to put products in as well as a big folder with coupons, booklets, pamphlets, etc. Below is a picture of the goodie bags with the products inside.

It was so much fun sharing these goodies with friends and family. Everyone seemed to be interested in Seventh Generation and the products.

If you are interested in trying environmentally safe products then join the Generation Good Community. You can also learn more about the products over here.

Have you tried Seventh Generation's products?

Favorite Disney Movies

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went to the movie theaters and watched Moana. We absolutely loved the movie! My boys have been singing the songs from the movie ever since we watched the movie. We may even have to purchase the soundtrack since they love the songs so much!  We loved the characters, the story, and of course the songs. The boys really love Heihei!

When we got home, my husband and I started talking about Disney movies and which ones are our favorite. So today, I decided to share my list of favorite Disney movies (in no particular order).

  • Moana
  • Up
  • Pocahontas
  • The Little Mermaid
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • Bambi
  • Finding Dory
  • Brave
  • Wreck-It Ralph
  • Toy Story
What is your favorite Disney movie?

Handmade Valentine's Day Cards

Hello! I have been busy making some Valentine's Day cards. Valentine's Day will be here before you know it so I am glad that I was able to make some ahead of time. I used papers from Crate Paper's Hello Love collection as well as some items that I had in my stash to make these four cards. Check out the cards I made below.

All four of these cards are available in my shop.

Have you been preparing for Valentine's Day? Have you made any Valentine's Day projects?

Currently List

Hello! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List!

Watching: I love watching art supply haul videos. I love learning how people use their supplies and I often find out about new products in the videos.

Reading: I'm planning on making just a couple of art purchases in the next few weeks so I have been reading some reviews on specific products. A few of of the things that I plan to purchase are some products from Jane Davenport's Mixed Media Collection. I already purchased this journal. I really want to try the Mermaid Markers and the watercolor sets.

Listening: I think The Weeknd did a pretty decent job on his cover of Michael Jackson's "Dirty Diana".

Making: You can never go wrong with tacos. *Random fun fact: I used to hate sour cream and would refuse to eat anything including tacos that had sour cream. However, being pregnant changed that. When I was pregnant with my oldest son, I used to crave sour cream and ever since then I have to have sour cream on my tacos.

Feeling: I'm so exhausted and really need a nap. Gabriel woke up really early...like around 4:30 in the morning and had a hard time going back to sleep.

Planning: I'm using my new Recollections planner to plan the rest of my week. I feel so organized.

Loving: It has been so cold and I am so glad that I do not have to go anywhere today.
