We're getting a lot more spring weather with some rain here and there. Pollen has also returned, so it'll probably be best to stay indoors for now.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I've been watching My Happy Marriage on Netflix and enjoying this series. It's an anime adaptation based on the novel series. I haven't watched much TV and still have a lot of shows to catch up on. I'm also still on the hunt for a good documentary, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that this has been a slow reading month for me. So far, I've only read about 8 books, which is very little for me. My favorite read of the month (so far) is A Little Drop of Courage by Hayley Kaye. I received this book from NetGalley and plan to write a review for the blog soon.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I suddenly have the urge to make mini cakes. This was after a trip to Michaels to find art supplies for Gabriel's project. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything for the project but found the cutest little 4.5-inch cake stand. I had to get it because I thought it would be perfect for the mini bundlets I love to buy from Nothing Bundt Cakes. However, I got the idea that I would try to make a mini cake for Raphael's upcoming birthday. I hope to get the rest of the supplies I need to make mini cakes by the end of next week, and I have been looking up recipes online. I think I may try to make my first mini cake next weekend...maybe for Easter?

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you I received good and bad news this month. One of my friends found out that she is expecting a baby. I'm so excited for her. That same day, I found out that a family friend passed away from cancer. It felt so strange to be celebrating new life while also mourning the loss of life.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that this month has been emotional. It's the anniversary month of my baby brother's death (tomorrow is actually the day of his birth and death), and it still hurts so much. I have so many feelings, but I recently read this quote by Jamie Anderson that sums up how I feel: "Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go."

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I am so happy we were able to meet. I really needed this little coffee date this month, and I'm so grateful we could catch up. I hope you enjoy the rest of the month.

What would you tell me?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...

Photo by Nathan Dumlao on Unsplash
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-56731104014911358892024-03-23T12:06:00.000-04:002024-03-23T12:06:34.781-04:0010 Things That Made Me Happy This Week
Happy Saturday! It's time for another round of Target Finds! As usual, I've found so many great things at Target. This month's list includes a mix of things we needed and a couple of random buys.

Glade Automatic Spray Air Freshener

Oddly, this is one of my favorite buys for the month. I love the aqua waves scent. The design of the atomic spray air freshener is nice. I love that it can go well with all of my bathroom decor. I also love that there are three timed fragrance releases. I love that Target's air freshener refills also fit the Glade automatic spray air freshener.

Kenmore 1.1 cu-ft Black Microwave

A few weeks ago, we had to get a new microwave. Our old one started sparking, so it was time to get rid of it. We found this Kenmore microwave and really like it. It's slightly bigger than our previous one but does its job. It was easy to set up and easy to use.

Energizer Automatic LED Nightlights

John wanted to get some lights for our hallways so that he wouldn't have to turn on the lights late at night. Honestly, I don't know why we hadn't thought to buy these until now. These are super useful when I remember that a load of laundry needs to be switched out right before bed. Also, it's super helpful when I need to wake up super early and don't want to wake everyone else. Not to mention, it's saved John's and my life a few times from near falls down the stairs.

Anyway, this was a great buy. The sensor works well and puts out enough light...it's not too dim, but also not too bright...it's just right.

Thermos Kids' Stainless Steel Water Bottle

It was time to replace Raphael's water bottles, so we opted to get another stainless steel water bottle. Raphael loves his new bottle. We haven't had any leaks, and it's very easy to clean.

What are some of your favorite Target finds?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-11148434088559454452024-03-19T06:00:00.034-04:002024-03-19T06:00:00.143-04:00Spring 2024 Bucket List
Happy Tuesday! It's the first day of spring and I'm excited. I'm so over winter and am ready for warmer weather, sunshine, and flowers. As always, I'm dreading pollen, but at least the chilly weather is almost over.

I'm looking forward to so many things this spring including crossing things off my spring bucket list. Sharing my spring bucket list is one of my favorite ways to celebrate the first day of spring. There's a few things that are the same from my previous spring bucket lists, but there's a couple of new things too. Check out my spring bucket list below.

Make a strawberry shortcake

Publish 5 personal pieces on the blog

Participate in Exhale's blog hops or at least complete the prompts

Make a photo essay and/or a photo zine

Complete 2 unfinished (i.e. abandoned) creative projects

Go for a family walk on the Silver Comet Trail every month

Visit a new coffee shop

Try 3 new recipes

Clean out our closets

Submit a piece to an online publication

Read a new book

Watch a new series

Complete one Studio Calico creative class that I haven't finished

Buy flowers

Work in my sketchbook/journal

Try a new art technique

Participate in an Easter egg hunt

Complete one class by Liz Lamoreux

Participate in a spring reading challenge

What is on your Spring bucket list?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...

Photo by Libby Penner on Unsplash
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-69710831470777308682024-03-16T17:48:00.002-04:002024-03-16T17:48:30.695-04:0010 Things That Made Me Happy This Week
Happy Saturday! Can you believe it's finally March? February went by so fast. Last month started off a bit hectic. COVID hit our household, but thankfully, we are all healthy and doing well. We went for several walks on the Silver Comet Trail, celebrated Valentine's Day, and had winter break.

March is usually an emotional month for me, but I'm feeling really hopeful about this month. I'm looking forward to going to a St. Patrick's Day festival, celebrating Easter, and spending time with my family.

Now that it's a new month, I look forward to working on new goals. Since I mentioned goals, let's have a quick recap of my February goals and check out my new goals for March.

Recap of February Goals

Read 3 books: I read some really great books and short stories. I'm currently reading the Improbable Meet-Cute short stories collection. The collection has six stories, and I read the first four short stories. I also read several books that I received from NetGalley. I also read a few books that have taken me so long to finish reading. I guess you could say they were books that no longer held my interest and were temporarily on my "did not finish" list.

Read 2 books I borrowed from the library: I started reading one of the books I borrowed from the library, but unfortunately, I didn't finish reading it.

Work on my Project Life album: I did work on my Project Life album. I still have so many layouts to work on, but it was so nice to work on a few.

Watch a new (or new-to-me) movie or TV series: I watched Thanksgiving. It was odd to watch a horror movie set during Thanksgiving when it was almost spring, but I was intrigued.

Try 1 new recipe: I haven't tried a new recipe, but I found a few that I want to try. Most of the recipes I found are dessert and breakfast recipes.

Go for a walk on the Silver Comet Trail at least once a week: I don't remember if I went for a walk every week, but I did go for a few walks throughout the month. I really loved going for walks with John and the boys.

Participate in Exhale's February blog hop: Unfortunately, I didn't participate in the blog hop, but I plan to work on the prompt in March. It's time for another Target Finds! As usual, I've found some great things at Target and am here to share them with you. Valentine's Day is almost here, so don't be surprised to see some Valentine's Day-themed items.

Toddler Boys' Short Sleeve Chest Striped Pocket T-Shirt

I was on the hunt for a picture day outfit for Raphael. I came across this T-shirt and loved it. It's true to size and is so soft. I also love that it reminds me of spring. I also found and bought a pair of jeans to pair with the T-shirt. You can see them here.

Valentine's Day Shark Mailbox Paper Craft Kit

Valentine's Day is in a couple of days, and I needed to get a Valentine's mailbox for Raphael. I couldn't find a ready-made box that only required to be decorated, and I should have bought one weeks ago, but that's ok because I did find this shark mailbox kit. I haven't put it together yet, but it'll get done.

Heart-Shaped Frosted Donuts

This was an impulse buy. I had plans to buy donuts on a Friday after work as a treat, but I decided that I deserved a mid-week treat after finding these donuts. They were okay, and the boys loved them. They were fresh, and the chocolate frosting/icing was good.

Dashing Diva Gloss Ultra Shine Gel Nail Art Palette

I had my eyes on these nail strips for a while and decided to buy them. I haven't tried them yet, but I really love the designs, and they seem simple enough to apply. I'll have to give a review once I actually do try them.

What are some of your favorite Target finds?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-41580369449622069312024-02-10T13:34:00.002-05:002024-02-10T13:34:52.894-05:0010 Things That Made Me Happy This WeekHappy Saturday! We're a few days into February, and I am glad it's no longer January. Although January started off great and is my birthday month, the middle and end of the month were rough. The beginning of the month was very promising. It's the start of a new year, getting back into a routine, celebrating another year around the sun...all good things. We also celebrated the 100th day of school, and my oldest son received an award.

The not-so-good...I started to feel unsettled. I have some big decisions to make regarding the next steps in my career, and as I've said before (or at least I'm pretty sure I did), these are good things, but having so many different options is starting to stress me out. On top of being stressed about these decisions, Raphael got Covid at the end of the month. Like literally, on the last day of January, he was diagnosed with COVID-19. Thankfully, he is doing much better and was only really sick that first day. It amazes me how resilient kids are...I mean, the kid was still running around even with a fever.

Now, it's February, and things are slowly returning to normal. This unsettled feeling is still there, but it's starting to go away. I'm feeling hopeful, grateful, and slightly more at ease.

I have some new goals and am looking forward to many good things this month. Since I've mentioned goals, let's check out my new goals for February and quickly recap how I did with my January goals.

Recap of January Goals

Read 2 books: I read 12 books in January. It's been a week of listening to good music. Under Giant Trees by Agnes Abel has been on repeat.

2. I am obsessed with the Biscoff donuts from Krispy Kreme. There are three different Biscoff donuts, but my favorite is the Biscoff cookie butter iced donuts.

3. I recently learned about Jean-Michel Basquiat and his artwork. I am now a fan. His work was absolutely amazing.

4. I participated in Exhale's blog hop! You can find my piece here.

5. Learning how to use my Keurig to make coffee using ground coffee. I had a bag of ground coffee that I had been meaning to try with my Keurig. Using ground coffee with my Keurig is definitely a game-changer now, but I still prefer using K-cups. It's just too convenient to use K-cups.

6. Lists. I absolutely love them. They are such a big part of my personal, professional, and creative lives. Lately, I've been incorporating them into my artwork and sketchbook/journal.

7. I've been collecting receipts from my favorite places to include in my Project Life album and journal. Sometimes, I don't have much to say, so being able to include something as simple as a receipt in my journal or include it in a layout really helps.

8. Photo essays. I love this idea and hope to make a few of my own.

9. I've been catching up on Ella Frances Sanders' substack, The Sometimes Newsletter, and have enjoyed her List series. You can read her latest one here.

10. This past week, I've been wearing my favorite sweatpants. They are so soft and cozy. I'll have to stop by Target to buy a few more pairs of sweatpants.

What made you happy this week?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-5273952362200257532024-01-19T08:00:00.084-05:002024-01-19T08:00:00.132-05:00A Toast for 2024

Here's to a fresh start;

To the start of a new job.

To the start of school again...whether it's for you or your child(ren).

To the start of a new routine.

To the start of a new hobby.

//

Here's to the stillness of winter;

To the quiet mornings.

To the cold walks on your favorite trail.

To the bare trees and fallen leaves beneath your feet.

To the murmurations in the sky.

//

Here's to celebrations;

To those big and small wins.

To another year around the sun.

To new lives beginning.

To anniversaries.

//

Here's to little joys;

To a fresh journal.

To trips to the little bookstore around the block.

To slow dancing in the kitchen.

To those comforting sips of coffee first thing in the morning.

//

Here's to you;

To the lessons you'll learn this year.

To your hopes and dreams.

To all that you'll achieve.

To all the joy and wonder you'll experience.

This post is part of a blog hop with Exhale - an online community of women pursuing creativity alongside motherhood, led by the writing team behind Coffee + Crumbs. It's time for another Target Finds! Over the past few weeks, I've found so many good things at Target, and I wanted to share some of my favorite things. So, let's get to the good part and check out my favorite finds.

Altec Lansing HydraMini Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker

John wanted a new Bluetooth speaker to listen to music at work without draining his phone battery. This was an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker, and it works really well. The battery lasts about 5 or 6 hours.

Culturelle Kids Daily Probiotic Chewable Tablets

We previously tried the Culturally Kids Probiotic and Veggie Fiber gummies and loved them. However, I saw these chewable tablets were on sale, so I got a pack. I can't say if these help since I only bought them a few days ago. However, my son did say that it tasted a little sour. He was still able to take it. It was a little expensive for the amount in each box, but I'm hopeful it will be worth the cost.

Play-Doh Party Bag

I love these packs of Play-Doh. They are perfect for party favors or for class gifts. They even come with a sheet of circle stickers to place on the lids. Valentine's Day is in a month, so I'm going to include these in my son's class gifts.

Chocolate Heart Shaped Grillable Dessert

I'm a sucker for Target's seasonal grillable desserts and was excited to find a Valentine's Day-themed dessert. This one looks so cute! It has heart-shaped marshmallows, chocolate cookies and gems, and chocolate chunks.

What are some of your favorite Target finds?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-42887778885787215702024-01-13T22:03:00.001-05:002024-01-13T22:03:07.549-05:0010 Things That Made Me Happy This Week
Happy Saturday! I'm still on a hot chocolate kick, so I'd probably order a seasonal flavor and a pastry.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that 2024 started off great! I don't feel so stressed, and I'm getting closer to making a big decision regarding my career. I'm feeling so inspired and am currently going through a creative burst. I'm feeling so good, and I hope this feeling continues throughout the rest of the year.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I set a reading goal for 2024. This year, I want to read 200 books. So far, I've read 3 books. I plan to share more reviews this year, especially on the blog, and I've even considered starting a bookstagram.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I have been working on some layouts. I've started a few Project Life layouts and will order some photos. I also made a 6x8 scrapbook layout using some Paper Person and Studio Calico supplies. I still have a few more projects that I have to finish, but there are a few I have to start.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that this may sound like a cliché, but I hope to be healthier this year. Every year, I say I want to exercise more and eat healthier foods. For a while, I actually do, and then, like most people, I stop. This year, I want to actually follow through on that resolution, but I need to make more realistic goals when it comes to this. However, I don't want to make extremely vague goals, so if you have any tips on setting goals relating to health, please feel free to share.

If you and I had coffee...

I'd tell you that I'm glad we were able to catch up. Today, I'm linking up with Charlotte, Lindsay, and Beth for their weekly happy and grateful list link-up.

1. It's my birthday! I'm so excited to celebrate my day and happy that my birthday happened to fall on a Friday. I'm so ready for the weekend. But if you didn't know, I celebrate my birthday for the entire month.

2. It's a new year! I'm so excited to see what 2024 has in store for me. So far, the month has started out great! I just found out that I was selected to be part of the Awesome Ladies Project team. I'm excited to contribute to the community and share my work.

3. I got my hair done for my birthday, which is one of my birthday traditions. I got my ends trimmed, and my hair looks so much healthier because of it. It's been over a year since I've been to the salon, which has been great for my wallet, but it was so nice to not worry about dealing with my hair.

4. I worked on some Project Life layouts using Paper Person's New Year Kit and Ali Edwards' Stories by the Month kit.

5. After having two weeks off of work and being on a much-deserved and well-needed break, the first day back went really well. I loved seeing my coworkers.

6. I just finished reading That's So New York by Dan Saltzstein and absolutely loved it! I am so grateful that I received an arc from Netgalley. I may be biased since I'm from New York City, but this book was amazing! I loved the short stories, tweets, and illustrations. The illustrations paired well with the stories and tweets.

7. I love finding new (or new-to-me) songs to listen to. One of my favorite new-to-me songs is Grateful by callmestevieray and Connor Price. It's been on repeat all week long.

8. I'm going through a creative burst, and I love it! Usually, I'm not in a big creative mood during winter, but this time is different. I absolutely love that I'm creating more and interested in trying new things in my new journal.

9. I just started a new creative project and hope to keep up with it every week. It's a memory-keeping project, but I love that I can include it in either my Project Life album or a separate album.

10. I have been making hot chocolate almost every night for my sons. I absolutely love that they now love hot chocolate as much as I do.

What made you happy this week?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-19483279746975075632024-01-03T06:00:00.215-05:002024-01-03T06:00:00.164-05:002024 One Little Word
Happy Wednesday! We're a few days into the new year, and I'm finally ready to share my word for the year. At the end of the year, I always reflect on the past year and think about what I want in the new year. One of the things that I reflect on is my word of the year and the word I want to focus on in the new year. This is one of my favorite New Year's traditions.

My word of the year is Nourish. This is a word that kept coming to my mind repeatedly for the past couple of weeks. What you may not have known is that Nourish was my word of the year in 2020. I completely forgot about that until just a few minutes ago while searching through my blog. You can find my 2020 One Little Word post here.

Nourish

1. To provide with the food or other substances necessary for growth, health, and good condition

2. Keep (a feeling or belief) in one's mind, typically for a long time

It's fitting that Nourish is my word of the year. Last year, my word of the year was Work. This word was perfect because I started a new position at my job (a promotion that I was excited about), and throughout the year, it had me really thinking about the next steps in my professional life. My word was also tied to my personal life. There were so many things that I worked on, but my professional life was definitely the most significant change that occurred for me.

By the year's end, I started thinking about what I wanted in 2024. Amazingly, my word for 2024 relates to my word from 2023. Last year was a year of milestones and changes for me and my entire family. Fall 2023 was a bit stressful despite it being my favorite season. Work was incredibly busy and, to be honest, at times stressful. However, I'm grateful for the challenges and encouraging words. I stayed focused, and now I feel more at ease.

In 2024, I want to have a better work/life balance. I feel like I somewhat neglected myself in 2023, especially towards the beginning of fall. I plan to avoid that this year. Just like in 2020, I want to nourish my mind, body, and soul.

To nourish my mind, I want to continue to learn more about potential career growth. I want to look into more possibilities for career advancement, whether that be training, going back for my master's degree, etc. I also want to read more books, especially genres I don't usually read. I want to watch more documentaries and series since I typically don't watch those.

To nourish my body, I want to ensure I eat more balanced meals. I did a decent job at not skipping lunch while at work, but there were days when I didn't get a chance to eat until I got home. I'm also working on eating more breakfast. For some reason, I never really liked eating breakfast and prefer to snack most of the morning. However, in the past few weeks, I have been eating breakfast and have noticed a change in my energy. I've also been going for many more walks even though it's been cold, but I've been feeling good. These walks were good not only for my body but also for my mind and soul.

To nourish my soul, I want to focus on having me time. Whether it's just ten minutes, thirty minutes, or even an hour, I'd like time to decompress in the afternoon and evening. I'd also like to work on easing into the mornings because I'm not a morning person. I plan to lower the amount of time I spend on social media, and instead, I want to focus on making more art and working on my writing. I want to be more active and have been thinking about starting yoga.

Overall, I'm excited for 2024 and looking forward to nourishing my mind, body, and soul. To quote Alex Elle, "My energy for 2024 is: If it's not nourishing to my mind, body, and spirit, it's a no."

What is your word for 2024? What do you hope to accomplish this year?

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-41142461101322019052024-01-01T14:35:00.001-05:002024-01-01T14:35:44.298-05:00January 2024 Goals
Happy Monday and Happy New Year! 2023 flew by and was a wild ride. The beginning of the year was great and full of pleasant surprises. The last half of the year was a rough ride. Work had me very busy and, at times, really stressed out, but I'm proud that I was able to hang on and overcome many challenges. However, my personal life has been great, and I'm so grateful for that. My family and I celebrated so many milestones, and we're excited to celebrate a few more this year.

I spent the last few days of 2023 reflecting on the year and thinking about what I want in 2024. I have a new word for the year, but I'm not ready to share that yet. I'm still savoring it and thinking about how to incorporate my word in all parts of my life.

Last month, I had some goals that I was hoping to accomplish. I made sure to make only a few goals and gave myself grace if I didn't complete any. Let's be honest; December is a very busy month, and I already knew there would be a few stressful days here and there. I'm honestly surprised that I still remembered my goals. There were a few goals that I didn't accomplish and a few things that I didn't have a chance to get started on, but I'm ok with it.

With it being a new month and year, I set some new goals. So, let's check them out and how I did with my goals in December.

Recap of December Goals

Read and review 1 book I received from NetGalley: I read fewer books than I usually would in a month. However, I did read 15 books in December. I read Instructions for Traveling West by Joy Sullivan. This was such a great read. If you're looking for a good collection of poems, I'd highly recommend Joy's book. I also read Earning Independence by P.J. Crescent. It was not at all what I was expecting, but I did finish reading it.

Read 1 holiday-themed book: I read multiple holiday-themed books like Kat Baxter's Grumpy Santa. I'm still reading a few more holiday-themed books and short story collections, so I'll be sure to mention those soon or post a couple of reviews.

Complete Liz's December - Five Things ecourse: I didn't complete this challenge, but I was able to work on a few prompts. I plan to incorporate the prompts into my December Daily (I should call it a December Daily-ish).

Work on my December Daily: I did work on my December Daily album, but I still need to complete it. I have to order my photos and add some journaling, but it was so helpful and fun to prep the pages.

Make sure to rest and practice self-care: I definitely did this. I read some good books, went for a lot of walks, and treated myself to some seasonal baked goods and drinks.

Watch a new (or new-to-me) movie: I watched The Meg and Meg 2: The Trench. The Meg 2 started off incredibly chaotic, but I just couldn't stop watching. I also watched American Symphony, which I absolutely enjoyed. There were times when I laughed and times when I cried.

Try a Winter Simmer Pot recipe: I meant to try a simmer pot on the first day of winter but didn't have a chance to try it. It's still winter, so I'll have to remember to make one soon.

January Goals

Read 2 books

Complete my 2023 December Daily

Work on my Project Life album

Watch a new (or new-to-me) movie or TV series

Journal at least once a week

Work on at least one creative project a week (i.e., scrapbook layout, project life layout, art journal, etc.)

Participate in Exhale's January blog hop

Try 1 new recipe

What are your goals for January? A much-needed month.

A month that was less stressful than the last couple of months.

December was a busy month.

A month full of events.

A festive month.

Full of good food, drinks, and family and friends.

December was a month for reflecting.

So many thoughts on this year.

So many hopes and wishes for the new year.

So many things left undecided and unanswered that will carry on into the following year.

But thankfully, those things are not necessarily unwelcome.

But for now, I'll push it to the back of my mind.

I'm sure the answers will make its appearance next year.

December was a month for remembering.

Looking back at photos and memories from the year (and years before that).

Feeling grateful for the childhood photos that Mami took

And the photos that I am taking.

Realizing that photos truly are a treasure.

December was a month for comforting my mind.

Walks on my favorite trail.

Evening walks in my neighborhood.

The cold air was a relief for my body and soul.

Long, hot baths after long days.

Hot chocolate, seasonal treats, and good books to help ease my mind.

December was a month full of equal parts chaos and silence.

An odd, interesting mix.

The chaos...an annoyance.

The silence...very much welcomed.

December, you were an absolute dream.

A welcomed respite.

But now, a new year and a new month is making its way.

January is almost here.

My birthday is just a few days away.

A new chapter will begin soon.

I. Am. Ready.

So long, December. I'll be forever grateful for this month.

So long, 2023.

What a year full of growth and learning.

It was a trying year at times, but overall, it was a good one.

Hello, 2024. I'm welcoming you with open arms.

May this be a more peaceful year.
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543010717337578925noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-251964556060029969.post-90214813745797466632023-12-29T20:20:00.001-05:002023-12-29T20:20:54.487-05:0010 Things That Made Me Happy This Week
Happy Friday!
