Currently List #41

Hello there! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List!

Watching: I sometimes forget how funny The Amazing World of Gumball can be.

Reading: I had so many e-mails when I woke up this morning. I hate when I have so many e-mails that have not been read and I took the time to actually go through and organize a lot. It's amazing how  fast your inbox can get cluttered.

Listening: All Things Go is an amazing song. Nicki really did a good job with this one.

Making: The boys wanted tacos for dinner and they were delicious!

Feeling: It's been a good day and I am feeling great.

Planning: I'm planning on working one some Valentine's Day presents this Friday. It just so happens that the Awesome Ladies Project falls on this Friday so I will be spending my two hours working on some Valentine's Day presents and other crafting projects.

Loving: I got some slippers on Christmas and they are so comfy.

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings

EEEEK! So I just got my Barnes and Noble order yesterday and I am so excited! I have mentioned before that I have become obsessed with the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. As I mentioned before on this post, my husband and I celebrated my birthday early and saw the Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Then on my actual birthday, I had a mini Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movie marathon. I only got to watch the first two Hobbit movies, but I did watched The Lord of the Ring movies a few days later.

I usually do not watch movies that are based on books until I have read the books, but in this case, I ended up watching the movies first. I got hooked and decided that I MUST get the books as soon as possible.

I mentioned before that one of my goals is to read one book a month. So far I am failing at doing this.  The month is almost over and I have not started reading any books <insert sad face here>. However, now that I got my books, I plan to start reading. Maybe I can finish one of the books by the end of this month. I also plan to jot a few notes in my Moleskine Passions Book Journal. I haven't used this journal in a long time and now is a good time to start using it again.

What are you currently reading?

Until next time...

Currently List #40

Hey! Hey! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List!

Watching: There's not much on TV right now so I am watching another mini Law & Order: SVU marathon while I wait for a package to be delivered.

Reading: I love that I can read the news online since I don't have to sit and wait for the news to come on television.

Listening: This song is absolutely amazing. It's been on repeat...like all day.

Making: Lately, I have been coming up with a lot of ideas for layouts that I want to make. Some of the layouts are just words and others have both words and pictures. I'm currently working on one of them, but I have at least two more that I want to make.

Feeling: It's a beautiful day and I am just so incredibly happy.

Planning: So I have been seeing a lot of cute mini tag albums and have been wanting to make one. I decided that I want to make a Valentine's Day mini tag album. I've already got an idea on how I want it to look and have bought a few supplies. I can't wait to see how this album turns out.

Loving: The weather is seriously amazing! It's 66 degrees right now and it just feels perfect. It's amazing how the weather can change someone's mood.

Currently List #39

Hello there! It's Tuesday and it's time for another Currently List!

Watching: I have some catching up to do. I didn't get to watch all of my novelas yesterday as well as a few others so while I work on my Project Life album, I will be catching up on TV shows.

Reading: I finally signed up for bloglovin' about two weeks ago and I love it! I love that you can keep all your blogs in one place and can keep track of the blog posts that you haven't read yet.

Listening: I'm taking it old school with this song lol!

Making: I'm catching up on a couple of weeks of Project Life. I'm almost done and I am loving it! I'm also making and filling out Project Life cards for other projects. I love that there are other uses for Project Life cards besides just using them in Project Life albums.

Feeling: I did not sleep well at all last night and so I am a little tired. I have started taking vitamins and actually think it's working. I don't feel as tired as I normally do.

Planning: I am starting to work on future blog posts and I realized that I should have been doing this from the beginning. Usually, I would just log on and just type, edit, and then post. Now that I am making sure to stay on schedule with my posts and work on them days before I plan to post, I'm not as stressed.

Loving: I love my new Erin Condren planner and love the new cover I chose. I got the cover that has the bows and it's just adorable. I need to make a post about my new planner and how I plan to use it especially since I came up with a few changes on how I will be using my planner. Maybe I'll do this in the next few days or so.

My 2015 Goals

I have a lot of things that I want to accomplish this year. Some are small and some are kind of big. I am determined to accomplish most of my goals (hopefully all of them) and am still trying to figure out if I will focus on one major goal a month or if I will just try to work on all of them little by little as the year goes by.

These are my goals for 2015 and are in no particular order.
  • Exercise more: I am considering going to a gym at least 3 times a week and then working out at my house the other days. I really need to work this into my schedule and make sure to put it in my planner.
  • Read one book a month: I have mentioned before that I love to read. I have so many books that I have purchased that I have not had the time to read (I know...horrible) or just haven't finished yet. This year, I want to try and read one book a month. I have even joined a book club and although I may not participate every month, my goal is to just make sure that I read one book.
  • More date nights with John: We are always so busy that sometimes we don't go on a lot of dates. This past year, we had a decent amount of dates and hopefully we can continue to do this in 2015 as well. We just get so busy with the boys, work, housework, etc. Maybe we can have date night once a month, but I don't want to make the amount specific because I'm not too sure if we would have the time. I still plan to add this goal into my monthly goals list in my planner.
  • Eat healthier: There are so many things that I can do to eat healthier like making sure to eat breakfast more often. I am horrible at eating breakfast and I know it's a bad habit. I also need to eat more vegetables as well.
  • Work on my networking skills: I want to really work on my blog and networking skills this year. I know that if I improve then I will get more opportunities.
  • Enroll in crafting classes: I enrolled in One Little Word last year and am considering joining again this year. I have been having some trouble coming up with a word, but I think I found the perfect word. I'm on the hunt for some other classes and challenges as well.
  • Keep creating: Create was my word for 2014 and I feel very happy that I actually did create a lot last year. I am hoping to continue to create in 2015.
  • Get 5 blog subscribers a month: I've only been blogging since April 2014 so I am still figuring a lot of stuff out with my blog and I'm still learning. My hope is to get at least 5 blog subscribers a month.
  • Work on overcoming my fear of driving: I know it may sound silly, but I am so scared of driving. I plan on enrolling in a driving class so that I can try to overcome my fear of driving.
  • Drink more water: I'm really bad with drinking water, but I know I NEED to work on this. I also want to limit my soda intake as well. There are times where I will not drink soda for a month, but I eventually go back to drinking soda.
Have you set any goals? What do you hope to accomplish this year?

Until next time...

Reese's Spreads VoxBox

Hello there! A few weeks ago, I found out about Influenster on one of the Facebook groups that I am in. Influenster is a really cool company that has tastemakers and educated consumers who gives their opinions and experiences on different products and companies. Influenster partners with many companies to give qualified Influensters samples and sometimes full-sized so that they test them out and review them. I immediately signed up because I love trying new things and who doesn't love to get free stuff?

I received an email about a week ago or so stating that I would be receiving a Reese's Spreads VoxBox. I was super excited to find out that I would be getting the Reese's Spread since I have tried Nutella before and heard that it is similar. And besides who doesn't like peanut butter and chocolate? I thought I would receive a tracking number, but never did. Imagine my surprise when I received my voxbox on my birthday!

I immediately tried the Reese's Spreads with some pretzels...and they were delicious! It really did taste like Reese's. It was like eating a melted Reese's peanut butter cup! I plan to eat some more with some apples next time. I definitely plan to buy more Reese's Spreads once I finish this jar. If you like peanut butter and chocolate especially Reese's then I recommend you try some Reese's Spreads!

DISCLOSURE: I received the products described in this post complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received.

Until next time....

Twenty-Four

Today is my birthday and I am twenty-four. I actually started celebrating my birthday early (like almost a week ago). My husband and I went to see The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies on December 30th which worked out great since we knew he would have to work on the weekend and the boys will be starting school again soon. I have to say The Hobbit was amazing and I highly recommend this film to everyone.

Yesterday, I had a mini Law and Order: SVU marathon and organized some of my crafting supplies. The boys and I also watched lots of Jake and the Never Land Pirates and we played with their trucks and trains.

Now for today, I plan to have a Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movie marathon. I have been wanting to do this for a while now and what better day to do it then on my birthday! We also plan to go out for ice cream (or frozen yogurt) and get some pizza. We have never been to Pinkberry and may just go there. I think the boys are going to love it!

I can't wait to get the day started! 2015 is already looking like it's going to be a great year and I have a feeling that this birthday is going to be an awesome one! So Happy Birthday to me and here's to having an awesome year!

Until next time...

December 2014-Month in Review Card

Hello there! Happy New Year! It's a brand new year! So many new opportunities and choices. A fresh start, a new beginning, a new journey...just new. I'm excited for this new year and maybe some things will be the same with just a few improvements, but I'm excited for the start of this new year!

Yesterday, as it neared January 1st, I decided to fill in a calendar card for December. I have been wanting to fill in one of those cards for a while now and I thought it would be nice to end the month and the year with one.

The card is from the Project Life 5th and Frolic core kit. I also used some of the Heidi Swapp Project Life stamps as well as some stickers from Doodlebug Designs. I love that there are a few extra cards in the core kit and I plan to use them every month. I will probably have to make my own monthly cards or purchase and download some other month cards when I run out.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you all have a wonderful year!

Until next time...
