Currently List #2

Hello there! This is my second currently card that I am posting. I have filled out several before for my Project Life album, but I plan to post my cards once a week. I love that it's so easy to fill out and I can capture what I'm doing for the day or even the week.

Until next time...

My Details e-Course

Happy Monday everyone! I just wanted to take some time and let you all know that I participated and completed an amazing e-course that was created by Kristin over at Rukristin and Megan over at the Nerd Nest. The purpose of the course was to document things about yourself. The course was 10 days long and every day there was a new prompt to complete.

The great thing about the course (for me) was that you could use different formats when completing the prompts. Some people put the prompts in Project Life format while others (like myself) use a notebook. I actually used the Rukristin's notebook kit. I didn't want to worry to spend too much time embellishing my notebook and the pages so I was glad that I got the kit. It had everything I needed for the course.

I love how my cover came out even though some of the letters are not straight. I had to be really gentle with the arrow stickers because there were two that actually tore, but it was very easy to fix it. I may add a little bit of washi tape on side, but I'm not sure yet.

This first prompt was actually a bonus prompt, but I'm so glad that this prompt was created because I had so much stuff on my mind. It was nice to just make a little list instead of writing pages and pages of all of these things.

I'm actually a little sad that the course ended, but I am glad that I decided to participate in it. I may just go back and complete the prompts again. The only difference is that I will focus on my past since I completed the prompts by focusing on the present.

I think that you can still purchase the My Details e-Course (don't quote me lol), so if you're interested then go ahead and check it out.

Until next time...

Love to Write? Love to Make Lists? Check out the Write365 App!!!

I absolutely love to write. I love to incorporate journaling in my crafts as well as my Project Life album. However, I sometimes can't think of what else to write or may get stuck when finishing my layout for my Project Life album. This is especially true with my layouts for my Project Life album. Sometimes I do not take enough pictures during the week so I have to rely on some extra journaling for my layouts. So I was very happy when I found out about Write365.

This app was created by Kam over at Campfire Chic. It's an app that gives you different prompts to choose from and you can email them to yourself if you don't have time to write at the moment.  The prompts are great because you can use the prompts in different ways. You can write a story, an essay, make a lists, etc. It is all up to you.

I plan to use the app a lot for my Project Life album. Here just a couple of samples that I will incorporate in my Project Life album.

In this moment, you could use...

  • Fries and buffalo wings
  • Pepsi
  • a scary movie to watch

How you stay in touch with friends who live out of state...
  • Facebook
  • Texting/Phone calls
  • Skype

So if you are ever having a little bit of writer's block or just want to make a list, then check out Write365.

Until next time...

Currently List

Hello readers! I have been obsessed with these little currently cards. I first found out about this from Kristin over at rukristin. It's a great way to document the little things during the week. I use the cards in my Project Life album and occasionally post to the Facebook group

There's a new show called Salem and I think it's interesting. We'll see how the show progresses, but so far it's looks ok. I went to Barnes and Noble last week and bought Somerset Memories. It has some really cool layouts and designs that I can't wait to try myself. I've been listening to Ellie Goulding's Explosions a lot...like on repeat. I'm super excited that I finally launched my blog and have been busy coming up with blog topics and figuring out a schedule. I've also been working on my Project Life layouts so that I won't have to play catch up again.

Until next time...

welcome to this journey

Well hello there! Welcome to my little space in the internet world! I have been wanting to launch my blog for a long time now, but I've been so busy and my plans kept getting pushed back. Up until graduation, all I focused on was on school, essays, work and of course my family. Once my graduation date started getting closer, I realized that I would have time to actually launch my blogNow the time has finally come and I'm so excited!

There are so many things that I will be writing about...and two of those things are college and work. Since I am a recent college graduate, I have been trying to figure out what I want to do with my degree. I've even thought about going back to school.

I have recently started Project Life and crafting. And I have to say that I'm loving every bit of it! I mainly started Project Life because I wanted to be able to document my life as well as my family's life. I also started Project Life and crafting because once I realized that I was graduating soon, I was going to have a lot of time on my hands and I didn't want to waste any time at all...so why not start a new hobby?

I'm not sure exactly where I'm going to go with this blog, but I can tell you this there will be lots of different topics. So I guess this will be a lifestyle blog. I hope you join me on this journey and once again welcome.

Until next time...
